50 Cent Drags Rick Ross Over Correctional Officer Past

The bad blood between 50 Cent and Rick Ross continues to boil. During a recent interview with Real 92.3 in Los Angeles, Fif told Bootleg Kev and DJ Hed there’s nothing to respect about Rozay’s career.

Kev began by pointing out Port Of Miami 2 debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip Hop chart.

“I know you just said something about Ross not being relevant enough to do music with,” Kev said. “Well he just dropped an album and it’s the number one album on the Hip Hop chart and he just dropped a book that’s doing well.”

“How many did he sell?” 50 replied. “Number one? Come on. What week was it? Some weeks 10 purchases make you number one.”

From there, Kev asked if there was any singular moment in Ross’ career that deserves respect and the Power co-creator flatly stated, “No.”

“There’s nothing there,” he explained. “I never wanted to work with him. Look, I understand from a perspective of someone who’s just listening to what it sounds like. But does it matter that he’s a correction officer? Does that ever matter?

“Look at the irony of the artists to come under him. Prison reform, and all of the wrongfully convicted and wrongfully treated people in the prison system while he’s on the whole other side of them? So just look at it.”

Last month, 50 shared similar sentiments about Ross, after Ross said Fiddy didn’t hold any “value” during an interview with radio personality Big Boy.

“I don’t know what his value is to music culture at this moment,” he told Complex. “I never made music with him. I don’t have interest in making music with him. You watch guys, a lot of these guys, even when you make reference to music culture and stuff like that, they’re one trick ponies, so they’re going to be gone.

“In Hip Hop, they say, ‘It’s not what have you done, it’s what have you done for me lately,’ right? So you could get next to the guys that got momentum and try and survive based on that, but it’s not a lot going on there.”

    Revisit those statements below.

    1. I ride with 50 on this one. Ross is just a huge fraud in this game. He raps about all this so-called lifestyle of a kingpin he never had while the truth is this fat fuck was a correctionnel officer who used to lock door cells and watch the prisoners in the prison yard. FOH !! Never bought that shit and never will ! That’s when hip-hop started to be a joke: when phony people like Ross got credit from some rappers while he was exposed as a fraud. Fuck him and fuck his fans too !

      1. Do the math, think about all the connections he was probably making while he was a CO. If you want to be a drug dealing kingpin what better place to be at then prison..just think about it

        1. Relax, that turd was a CO, not the chief of police. He was at the bottom of the Totten pole on THE other side of his current played character.

            1. You tight, If I faked a lifestyle I never lived, I might make more than my “hating ass.” look at Tekashi’s fake ass, he made millions, so I can see how a fake gangster image might help me make more, just like CO Ross.

        2. then why did he lie when asked about it and beat down vladtv for showing him in his uniform he got a award for fucking with the inmates getting the most write ups hardly the best way to connect with the plug if you wer planning on flooding the jail wit coke you would already have a connect and people on the inside to make a lot of dough …..

        3. Except anyone seen talking to a CO is assumed to be a snitch, so no real street dude would give him the time of day. You obviously know nothing of jail or prison and have no place commenting since you don’t know shit. Go back to watching The Wire and thinking you know something.

          1. moving drugs through prison is a million dollar business and the guards are involved in it, so how about you go watch the wire..you’ve probably never been to court before you prick

    2. Hiphop nerds are so misinformed. Didn’t Dr Dre famously say “it’s just entertainment”? Doesn’t everyone know Dr Dre was never really a gang banger? Didnt he produce 50’s first album? But did Dr Dre ever really kill anyone? I highly doubt it. Didn’t Ice Cube get a mechanical engineering degree before deciding to become a rap artist? Was he really the gun toting gunslinger in his raps? Nope. Didn’t Biggie Smalls, Nas and Wu Tang fill their albums with fake Italian mafiaso references? We’re these guys really importing with mafia guys? Highly unlikely. 2Pac didnt grow up as a thug either. It’s well known. Same with Pusha T. Somehow he went from selling some weed to kids in Virginia Beach to becoming El Chapo? Few rap artists are perfectly “authentic” or fit whatever image they proclaim. Most are huge exaggerations of themselves and great actors. Rick Ross isn’t any different. In fact, the whole idea of folks bragging about their drug dealing days years after their famous is truly corny. Hate him or love him, Rick Ross is just another well-crafted character. if you want to believe these gangsters are real, you need to find another avenue besides entertainment. Very few of these artists have authentic images – it’s just good marketing vs bad marketing. Doesn’t mean Rich Forever or BMF aren’t great. 50 sounds salty.

      1. Exaggeration is one thing but this dude was a corrections officer. That’s completely on the other side of the fence. It’s as ridiculous as the black white supremacist.

    3. Niggs call 50 a hater, but don’t even realize that most of the time he is just reacting to shit others say about him…….case in point, 50 never said Ross was irrelevant to make music with…Ross said that about 50.

    4. 50 has a ton of female personalities honestly. He’s tried to diss let’s see now Jay-Z, Nas, Jadakiss, Fat Joe, Camron, Young Buck, Ja Rule, Rick Ross, Shyne, The Game, etc He’s a straight hater. It’s why someone who was once at the VERY TOP of the rap game can’t get any features from other artist on his whack music. Yes he helped produce POWER which I’m a fan of, but EVERYTHING else has been a dud for him. Music, underwear, headphones. He was once 3rd on hip hops Forbes list then went fuckin bankrupt tryna play bully. Yes he has money now but it’s still less than Ross. Goes to show you making friends rather than enemies is the key to longevity in this game

      1. Ross started the beef with fif first… over NOTHING. Its fuck thT fat fraud 4 life. Also 50 he has way more than Officer Ricky… Ricky has owed the IRS millions every year for years now. Not to mention the child support that deadbeat dont be paying

        1. 50 is the one owning to the IRS and not giving a shit about his son. Ross pays more attention to 50’s family then curtis ever did.

    5. When was the last time 50 went #1?? I doubt he’d debut in the top 10 today. If #1 was so easy, he wouldn’t be scared to drop any music. Music wise 50 is completely done.

      1. Maybe he dont wanna do music no more. Hes moved onto bigger things. Music is still Officer Ricky’s bread and butter and in 10 albums hes never even sniffed 10% of the success 50 had in 1 year. It took
10 years for his first platinum album while literally ALL Ross peers were going plat over and over in a few months or less. Dude is a bum. #1 hiphop album n a week no one else drops ain’t the same as the #1 album in the country

        1. Yeah, 50 is more successful in a complete sense, but we’re talking music right now. When talking music, none of the other shit matters. I’m a fan of 50, but his last #1 album was The Massacre. His last #1 single was Candy Shop. He came out with hella shit since then and nothing else hit #1, even in this wack-ass streaming age.

          1. Wrong!! Before I self destruct and animal ambition both went #1 on the hiphop chart!! And I guarantee if 50 dropped an album tomorrow it would go #1 on the hiphop chart easily

            1. Self destruct and animal abortion barely made the top 5 and the sales for his last album were less than half of Ross’s. Ross is still earning more than 50 because unlike 50, ross is smart and invests his money while his peers have spending addictions that leave them in bankruptcy. The few that remain are all pop stars, selling out to teenage girls like eminem and kendrick Lamar.

            2. We’re talking about the hip-hop chart you moron, not the billboard 200 chart, Ross is no1 on the hip-hop chart not the billboard 200 and 50’s last 2 albums went number 1 on the hip-hop chart!! Do some research before commenting or atleast read the article or watch the video properly!! It clearly states in both that this is the hip-hop charts we are discussing

    6. A c.o is a cop!
      Hes an ex-cop/rapper/fake drug dealer
You can try to twist it how ever you want but if you ever supported William Leonard not the real “Ricky Ross” btw your supporting an ex cop prison guard who raps about selling drugs. Do the math dummies

      1. He’s still a true gangster, despite his past. No one bitched about paul walker’s character banging out with the gang he tried to arrest in the fast and the furious.

    7. 50 shouldn’t be clowning Ross’s sales when he can’t even get an album out these days. Ross has 5 no.1 albums compares to 50’s 2. And ross keeps it street while 50 sells out to pop.

      1. I think if 50 used as much guest features from some of the top artist like ross does he’d sell as much, but he doesn’t.

      2. Massacre sold more than all Ross albums and everyone signed to MMG put together !!! Shit the Get Rich soundtrack probably outsold that whole crew combined too, LOL. HE got every right to clown that fraud bozo who started a beef him when he aint know him or ever met him and from a different coast for no reason but “clout”. Ross wouldn’t be shit without 50. Its actually sad. 50 is the only reason Officer Ricky has the success he does. 50 still got 10 times more haters than Officer Ricky does fans..

        1. Last time I checked NY and FL are both on the Atlantic, so the same coast. You really should have stayed in school instead of dropping out at 10 yrs old to be a rapper. How’s your nonexistant career goin bud?

      3. a no. 1 album on the “hip-hop” charts is not the same thing as a REAL no. 1 Album. ESPECIALLY when no other major hip-hop artists release that week. Ross is just lucky he didnt come out and get embarrassed by Tyler or some other fruit like his pal DJ Khaled. All I Know is Young Thug selling more than Ross and that guy was putting out duds for years.

    8. I would love to see 50 smack Ross’ tiddies around, bruising them tiddies with his fists! Just straight up pummeling Ross’ big ole tiddies with his fists like a champion
