50 Cent has received the green light on a brand new show that will look to give former gang members and hate group affiliates a second lease on life.
According toDeadline, Redemption Ink is in the early stages of development with 50 onboard as an executive producer under his G-Unit Film & Television division.

Contestants will look to leave their troubled histories in the past as they detail their poignant journeys while covering up gang tattoos connected to their former life and look toward a second chance at redemption in the future.
Taking to Instagram to announce the show, 50 Cent wrote: “This show is going to hit different, Redemption ink HULU. GLG GreenLightGang i don’t miss let’s go! G-unit film& Tv.”

Inspired by Luis Gutierrez’s tattoo shop, Redemption Ink is a series created by Matt Bazan and will ultimately be streamed on Hulu.
While much of his work is done behind-the-scenes, 50 will be in front of the camera acting once again as he’s been cast alongside Mel Gibson in a new film titled Boneyard — and the movie is reportedly inspired by true events.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Boneyard follows an FBI special agent, played by Gibson, who along with the Chief of the Albuquerque Police Department, played by the G-Unit mogul, search for a ruthless serial killer named The Bone Collector.
Meanwhile, last month, 50 Cent celebrated his relentless TV domination as his film/TV empire continues to reach new heights.
“I just realized there is not 1 african american person with green light Power in all of television [surprised eyes],” he wrote on IG back in March. “WTF, I gotta turn it up now! #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi.”

50 Cent’s television empire is in part thanks to his record-breaking shows such as Power, Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, Black Mafia Family (BMF), and Power Book IV: Force, all of which fall under his G Unit & Television Inc. production company.
Power Book II: Ghost returned with Season 3’s premiere earlier this year, and the STARZ show broke yet another viewer record.
