50 Cent has made it a point to let everyone know that he’s reportedly the only African American executive in television with “Green Light Power.”

On Friday (March 24), 50 took to Instagram to brag about the executive power he holds in the world of television. In the image he posted, the G-Unit mogul can be seen smiling in a tailored suit while there’s a web of corporation logos surrounding him, all of which he has some sort of dealing with — including ABC, BET, and FOX.

50 Cent’s small screen dominance is in part thanks to record-breaking shows such as Power, Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, Black Mafia Family (BMF), and Power Book IV: Force, all of which fall under his production company, G Unit & Television Inc.

Power Book II: Ghost returned with Season 3’s premiere last week and the STARZ juggernaut has broken another viewer record.

According to Deadline, Season 3’s debut smashed STARZ’s previous premiere record with 5.8 million viewers across platforms through the first three days of availability since being released on March 17. The cumulative number is a huge jump compared to the estimated 362,000 live broadcast viewers that tuned in on Friday night.

The weekend viewership for Season 3’s multi-platform premiere was also reportedly up about 30 percent compared to Season 2’s debut in November 2021.

In the beverage world, the Houston Rockets organization recently announced they’ve joined forces and 50 Cent’s premium wine and spirits company Sire Spirits for what they’ve called a “ground-breaking partnership.”

The multi-year deal will highlight 50’s award-winning Branson Cognac and Le Chemin du Roi Champagne brands at Houston Rockets home games and Toyota Center events “with multiple themed bars, a branded luxury suite and a courtside loge box.”

Fif may have his hands in other businesses, but his name still rings bells in the rap world. Swizz Beatz recently shut down the idea of a Verzuz matchup between 50 Cent and Lil Wayne after a clip surfaced of Apple Music host Lowkey proposing a hypothetical face off between Weezy and the G-Unit mogul.

“Me personally, I wouldn’t even do 50 vs. Wayne – they two different dynamics and two different artists,” Swizz Beatz told Baller Alert.

“I would do a different Verzuz for both of them, but we’ll see as we have a lot of things lined up for Verzuz, and hopefully, they are involved. While I can’t give up who I would choose to go against them, just wait and see.”
