Both Gibson and Fif’s characters have opposing views on who the culprit may be, with the latter believing the killer may be in his own department.
50 Cent celebrated the new film on Instagram, writing: “Boneyard, official serial killer vibes based on a true story.”
While there are currently no details surrounding a release date, the film will be also star Brian Van Holt (Jo vs. Carole) and Nora Zehetner (The Right Stuff). It will be directed by Asif Akbar (The Commando) and produced by Colin Bates and Vincent McDaniel.
The news comes after 50 Cent recently celebrated his relentless TV domination.
“I just realized there is not 1 african american person with green light Power in all of television [surprised eyes],” he wrote on IG back in March. “WTF, I gotta turn it up now! #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi.”

50 Cent’s television empire is in part thanks to his record-breaking shows such as Power, Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, Black Mafia Family (BMF), and Power Book IV: Force, all of which fall under his G Unit & Television Inc. production company.
Power Book II: Ghost returned with Season 3’s premiere earlier this year, and the STARZ show broke yet another viewer record.
According to Deadline, Season 3’s debut smashed STARZ’s previous premiere record with 5.8 million viewers across platforms through the first three days of availability since being released on March 17.
TV and movies aside, Swizz Beatz recently shut down the idea of a Verzuz matchup between 50 Cent and Lil Wayne after a clip surfaced of Apple Music host Lowkey claiming that a hypothetical face-off between Weezy and 50 Cent would find the latter emerging victorious.

“Me personally, I wouldn’t even do 50 vs. Wayne – they two different dynamics and two different artists,” Swizz Beatz told Baller Alert.
“I would do a different Verzuz for both of them, but we’ll see as we have a lot of things lined up for Verzuz, and hopefully, they are involved. While I can’t give up who I would choose to go against them, just wait and see.”
