50 Cent will expand his reach into daytime television by filling in as a guest host on the Drew Barrymore Show while the actor is out battling COVID-19.
The award-winning movie star announced her diagnosis on Thursday (November 10) and announced that 50 Cent and TV personality Ross Mathews will handle the show until she’s back.

“I’ve got covid and lucky the cat!” Barrymore wrote on Instagram. “Im good and will be back soon. In the meantime @helloross and @50cent are taking over. So only good news to report!!!!! Maybe some other special surprises too!”
According to 50’s public relations agency, the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ rapper will host the Drew Barrymore Show on Monday (November 14). The agency also wished Barrymore a speedy recovery and hyped up his hosting stint on Instagram Stories.
“Feel better @drewbarrymore,” AKR PR wrote on social media. “The show is in good hands with @50cent.”
The G-Unit mogul recently launched The BMF Documentary: Blowing Money Fast on STARZ and Hip Hop Homicides on WE tv. He’s also teaming up with DJ Envy on an upcoming reality series to be featured on the A&E network called Property Players.
Viewers will be taken behind the scenes as the crew flip houses for large profits, while mentoring other celebrities and their communities about real estate investment.
Property Players will be produced by 50 Cent’s G-Unit Films and Television banner, with Fly on the Wall Entertainment and Lionsgate TV also on board. A&E Networks currently holds the worldwide distribution rights to the series.
50 is in an interesting position now that his deal with STARZ — which houses his Power and BMF series — is complete. 50 is reportedly fielding offers from several companies looking to team up with him on the next chapter of G-Unit Films and Television.

Even though the STARZ deal is finished, Power is still cooking on the network, with Power Book III: Raising Kanan just completing its second season. BMF‘s upcoming season two will premiere in January 2023.
