2018 MTV Video Music Awards Winners Are Here

Following a colorful intro from Cardi B, the 2018 MTV VMAs got underway on Monday (August 20) and the winners collected their awards one-by-one. Artists such as Travis Scott, Logic and Post Malone hit the stage for powerful performances throughout the night, while Nicki Minaj delivered a pre-recorded version.

Nominees in the Video Of The Year category include Bruno Mars’ “Finesse (Remix)” featuring Cardi B, JAY-Z and Beyoncé’s “APESHIT,” Drake’s “God’s Plan” and Childish Gambino’s “This Is America.” But, it was pop singer Camila Cabello’s “Havana” video featuring Young Thug that nabbed the honor.

Elsewhere on the list of nominees, Bruno, Drake, Post Malone and Cardi B were nominated in the Artist Of The Year category, which Cabello also won. Nicki Minaj’s “Chun-Li” scooped up the award for Best Hip Hop video.

        1. No…there were just better hip hop records than that. Don’t feel bad though. There were better hip hop songs than all thoae nominated period.

    1. The world seems oddly at balance. Childish Gambino won more awards than Niki and Drake combined… not a fan, but he can actually rap…

    2. How do they have time to watch music videos between all those back to back episodes of Teen Mom and Who Came On Sheets?

    3. People still watch these trash @zz VMA Awards??? Best Editing award, WTF???? I don’t even know all those latinos that won. Nicki won hip hop, LMAO…… the gig is up its all rigged and pay for play..

          1. Word..these idiots fail to realize that it’s VIDEO awards..and This is America was the best video hands down..

    4. Where was J Cole? He should of won for nicki lol. Oh I forgot the VMA’s lets artists pau for their awards.

    5. The fact that the VMAs awarded Sisqo “Thong Song” the best Hip Hop Video over Q-Tip “Vivrant Thing” and Lauryn Hills “Everything is Everything” back in 2000 just shows you how credible they are. All these award shows are a joke!

    6. Let’s be honest, God’s Plan should have won Best Hip Hop over Chun-Li. It’s simple, but way catchier.
