Masta Killa Releases Long Awaited “Loyalty Is Royalty” LP

Wu-Tang Clan devotees need to add another album to their collection. After years of teasing the LP, Masta Killa has finally released his Loyalty Is Royalty album just a few weeks before the arrival of his group’s new compilation Wu-Tang: The Saga Continues.

The project is Masta Killa’s first solo release since 2012’s Selling My Soul. The Wu’s presence is felt throughout the album with guest appearances by GZA, RZA, Method Man, Inspectah Deck and Cappadonna. Redman, KXNG Crooked, the late Sean Price and recently deceased Prodigy of Mobb Deep also appear on the LP.

      1. Wu tang is and has been trash. rza beats are the most boring of any so called “super producer.” u-god is top 5 worst rapper easily. rae talks a whole bunch about nothing. ghost will get his azz eaten by action bronson…meth is on meth…and who really cared about the other group members?

      1. I think Krayzie Bone brought up the idea of a Bone/Wu project a year or so ago, but of course nothing’s been confirmed yet. If only..

    1. This album is DOPE. I am not a Wu Stan. I grew up a fan of the Wu, but I only like maybe 1 out 4 Wu related projects now. Hated Better Tomorrow. Mainly because their stuff now doesn’t have that Wu vibe and it’s sloppy and lazy. But this album has it. Hes not trying to fit in with the new school. The beats are unorthodox without being ugly. He tells stories, keeps it simple while having depth. It’s actually similar to “No Said Date” which was also a dope album. Peace.

      1. I just listened to it all the way through and It didn’t really grab me as much as “No Said Date”. However, “Return Of The Masta Kill” is a 5-star track. Nice!

      2. This is definitely better than his previous offering, Selling my soul, which I think is the so so album in his catalog. No Said Date and Made In Brooklyn were my joints.

    2. “OGs Told Me” with Backs & MoeRoc is the best track on here, also like “Down with Me” ft Sean Price. 4 out of 5
