88rising’s Higher Brothers are ringing in the Chinese New Year with the video for their track whose title basically translates to “hope you secure the bag this year.” Produced by Richie Souf, the video features “locals” that include children as young as seven making it rain with red envelopes, gifts that are customary to events such as weddings or in this case the Chinese New Year.
Higher Brother’s are about to release their sophomore album Five Stars on Feb 22, and many are saying that the album has great potential to be the biggest Chinese hip-hop album in history.
