HipHopDX Premiere: It’s been seven years since DJ Kay Slay released his last proper album, 2010’s More Than Just A DJ. (2003’s The Streetsweeper Vol. 1 and 2004’s The Streetsweeper Vol.2 were both Top 10 debuts on Billboard’s Hip Hop Chart back in the day.) Now, he’s back with The Big Brother, which the New York native released just last month.

The 22-track album debuted in the Top 10 on the iTunes Hip-Hop Chart and is packed with plenty of star power. From Kendrick Lamar, 2 Chainz and Rick Ross to Tech N9ne, Raekwon and Ice-T, the project represents a variety of Hip Hop greats.

To celebrate, Kay Slay has rolled through with a new visual for “Hip-Hop Icons” featuring Ice-T and Kool G Rap.
