Locksmith wants to make sure nobody’s sleeping on his Olive Branch LP. The Bay Area lyricist has dropped yet another music video for the album cut “Helpless” featuring Olamide Faison.

The track finds the MC explaining why being humble is not a sign of weakness while putting together some slick bars. There are gems scattered throughout the track and Lock closes it out in strong fashion.

“They try to equate modesty with being helpless/But those are very different traits to me/If you speak how you feel then they bill you as crazed/If you stick to your guns that will become praise/If you phased by the thoughts and opinions of other people/You can only get as far as they say or how they see you,” he raps on the third verse.
