HipHopDX Premiere: Directed by BenMarc, Leeb Godchild’s new video for “Boomerang” kicks off with images of a church and the burgeoning rapper dressed as a priest before he starts sprinkling countless hundred dollar bills across a San Francisco city street. Fast-forward a few seconds later and a mysterious woman clad only in underwear is seen counting money in a kitchen before Godchild shows up to join her. Whatever’s going on there, Godchild is all about keeping his money right.
“Boomerang” is included on his debut mixtape, The Chase, which expected to arrive on April 10, and features Dave East and Stalley along with a yet-to-be-revealed “special guest.” Watch the video above.
