S-8ighty has had a great year thus far musically, as he dug his heels into the game when he teamed up with Lil Wayne on wax for the remix of his widely popular single “Halfway,” as well as the subsequent official music video. While the Zero to Sixty/Republic Records rapper capitalized on the love from the fellow New Orleans native, he is also extremely capable of impressing as a one man show.
Now, S returns with the official music video for his latest single “I Love It.” The record reveals what he has experienced since accumulating wealth and fame, detailing his personal experiences accordingly. From receiving questions on how to act with his newfound riches, to keeping his circle small, to having a plethora of women chasing after him, S-8ighty ultimately succumbs to the life. In the video directed by The Dark Brothers, he simply expresses that he doesn’t know why he loves it, but it’s something that he can’t resist.
