Hip Hop’s reach is global and international flavors often pair well with American palates. Such is the case with Swedish MC Osten af, Kashal-Tee, and Prop Dylan, who has paired up with the legendary Masta Ace and Bam of The Jungle Brothers for “The Avengers.”
According to a press release, their mission is to “clean up Hip Hop and save it from the vile crap which has infested the culture recently.” Armed with their lyrical superpowers, they enlist the help of Swedish producer Freddie Cruger/Red Astaire to provide the beat, who already has an impressive catalogue of over 50 vinyl releases to his name. Brooklyn singer Coco Rouzier also helped add a soulful hook for the track.
Directed by the Los Angeles director Daniel Lindqvist, the video also features a little animation by Jonathan Mthsns, and is shot in Austria, Denmark, and Sweden.
