Jarren Benton is back with a new project and is equipped with a new visual for “Slow Motion Intro”—the lead single from his new upcoming mixtape “Slow Motion Vol. 2.” Backed by cuts courtesy of former label mate DJ Hoppa, Benton’s new Jakob Owens-directed visual showcases his signature rapid-fire flow while effortlessly stirring in a cascade of scintillating bars full of adeptness and substance over solid production.
Jarren’s impending mixtape, “Slow Motion Vol. 2,” will serve as the first independent release since the expiration of his former record label, Funk Volume. Benton notes that the new project will be one of his most personal projects to date, showcasing his growth as an artist and emcee as he touches on personal topics including the death of his friend/manager, and the project’s namesake, Slow Motion. The project will come with contributions from the likes of Kato on the Track, M16, Justin Padron, RocNMayne, J.U.S.T.I.C.E League, and Statik Selektah, as well as several others. Slow Motion Vol. 2 is scheduled to arrive July 15th.
