If you have been remotely close to a radio since last summer, you would know it’s been damn near impossible to escape The Chainsmokers infectious multi-platinum hit, “Closer.” The record packs the type of crossover success that motivates Wiz Khalifa to put his best foot forward these days. And he’s decided to lend a few bars to the still churning pop machine.
Lest one forget, Wiz spent 12 weeks atop the Billboard 100 in 2015 for his breakthrough record, “See You Again.” He may be warming up for something of similar quality in the future.
