HipHopDX Premiere: Oakland MC Tree Thomas takes on Tyrese’s 1998 hit single, “Sweet Lady,” with a re-imagination titled “Need Tree.” Dubbed as a “sensual love ballad,” the track finds him rapping (and singing) to a sweet and special lady.

Early this year, the aspiring rapper released his ROOTSproject, which features IAMSU!, Larry June, Kevin Gates and NBA player Damian Lillard. Listen to the new track above.
