Wil$on is a 22-year-old artist/rapper from South Central Los Angeles and a member of the Busy Sounds collective. After writing rhymes on and off since the eighth grade, Wil$on recently decided to focus 100% of his energy on his music. Now, he proves his talents in his new single titled “Letter,” which was produced by Compton duo Cook&Jango (founders of Busy Sounds).

Wil$on states, “So we all know mass incarceration is a big problem in the United States, ‘Letter’ is about having loved ones in the prison system. The song is basically how my friend Lonnie Williams and cousin Darion Thompson got there and the questions they ask about what’s going on in the outside world.”
