HipHopDX Premiere: Beginning with an homage to the Talking Heads’ 1980 song, “Once In A Lifetime,” Carl Roe‘s “S. State St.” finds the Seattle-based rapper reminiscing about his roots as DJ Revolution cuts it up on the Nottz-produced track. Roe, who is in fact the engineer behind Blu & Nottz’ Titans in the Flesh EP, pulls the song from his upcoming LP, Eleven Chuck, which is scheduled to drop on Veterans Day (November 11).
