Pharrell Williams is in a spirited mood on two new singles he’s released today (October 24) titled “Runnin'” and the Lalah Hathaway-assisted “Surrender,” which are taken from the soundtrack for the film, Hidden Figures. Starring Janelle Monáe, Octavia Spencer and Taraji P. Henson as NASA scientists, the film depicts the Apollo 11 moon mission. Williams came onboard as a producer earlier this year and consequently took command of the musical elements for the score.
