A HipHopDX Premiere!

Rene Brown drops off her new single “Savage,” produced by UK producer Mr. Woovie.

When asked about the making of the track, Rene stated:

“I had a lot of fun with this track and just kept it honest to myself. I got the production from the Mr Woovie in the UK, sat in the studio and just zoned out (with all the party favors mentioned in the hook lol). I wrote, tracked and mixed it myself the same night. My quickest records are usually my truest. My inspiration was really just feeling like everything I’ve done up until now has been a warm up and I have a point to prove now. I’m more focused than I’ve ever been so for me, this marks the beginning of me not letting up. I’m not letting them breath in 2016”
