      1. Joey badass album is going to be hard to beat. Can’t see kendrick having a better album. B4da$$ is so much better then kendricks debut aswell.

Joey badass new joint just came out today one of the best tracks of the year. Joey badass – perception and Reality. Flying lotus played it last night.

      2. joey badass album reall? LOL hahaha the fanboy in that statement is real lol..Men if we honestly judge all the albums thats dropped in 2015 so far. Lupe Fiasco Tetsuo & Youth >>>joey, big sean, drake. Only thing that challenge that monster of a record would be my Kendrick Lamar. I deff fucks with this & Blacker then Berry, even I so far his album shaping up to be super dope. Also shoutout to Ecology by Fashawn deff my #2 favorite album behind Tetsuo & Youth thus far very underrated!

    1. Def sounds like Quik behind the boards. Can’t wait till the 23rd. Nobody in the game is fucking with Kendrick.

      1. Joey badass album is better then anything kendrick putting out at the moment. But I prefer hip hop before 2005. So maybe I just don’t get today’s hip hop.

      1. that mother fucker aint nowhere being the king..that shit is garbage ..school boy Q WAY BETTER then this racist bitch

    2. this track sends chills through my love for hiphop spine though. Can’t wait to hear the rest of the album, #rawfunkrap

    3. fucking kendrick yes!!!!!!! all doubt towards TPAB has been obliterated with this one right here..

“the reintroduction of funk maybe just be the thing that breaks the fever on the long orbit that has been “turn up” music. ”

god damn i hope so…11/10. kdot is king.

    4. My God this IS Earth shattering, sky scorching, warp speed type of next level hip hop divinty…! speechless

    5. wow… fxcking incredible. it’s so simple; if these “artists” would just make fxcking music…k dot pushing the culture forward — yet again.

    6. GAME DID WELL PUTTIN KENDRICK ON AND MISS ME WITH UR GAME HATE KENDRICK SAID IT ON BLACKBOYFLY. PUT THAT BOY ON THAT CALI NIGGAZ AND BEEN POPPIN EVER SINCE. GAME IS ONE SICK NIGGA FROM THE DOCUMENTARY TO JESUS PIECE NEVER MADE A WEAK CD and got bout 3 classics! CHUUCH!!!

    7. Before I even read the P.S. Quik comment I knew this was a Quik influenced track. That bass line is straight classic Quik. This shit is too dope. Kendrick + Quik = Magic. Can’t wait for this fuckin album.

    8. Blacker the Berry was epic, so was that track he performed on Colbert, but this is honestly one of the worst Kendrick songs I’ve ever heard. He didn’t record something better than this for the album? GTFO. With this and “I” I can confidently say this album is probably not as good as OD, Section 8 or GKMC. Kendrick slippin’. That song he performed on Colbert better be on the album, because that was way better than this garbage.

    9. GKMC for me wasnt AMAZING, thought it was ok… Though so far every song I’ve heard from TPAB has been CLASSIC… Str8 raising the bar type shit.. I, Blcker the berry and now King Kunta… This brother is ahead of his time…

    10. So Quick finally made a good beat after long time of wackness – well done this one. Nice song. 4.5/5

    11. You guys need to get off his dick, this is GARBAGE. If this was someone else y’all would call this wack.

    12. straight fire! this shit sounds has such a unique feel to it, like nothing i’ve heard before. its catchy, funky, dope! cant wait til the 23rd..a;ready bought my copy

    13. Talk about the epitome of dickriding and people letting others tell them what is hot. This shit sucks beyond belief. And yet, because it’s Kendricj, people act like its the best thing since electricity. Wow. KRIT just released a track called “4eva Chapter one” that is way better than this mess. To see people applauding this so much is funny and sad at the same time.

    14. I’m not going to say it’s wack but I’m just not feeling this joint. It did nothing for me. Still anticipating the album. This was extremely OVERHYPED I must say

    15. OK PEOPLE KENDRICK IS DOPE BUT THIS TRACK AINT THE GREATEST SHIT IN THE WORLD. I FIGURED FROM THE TITLE THAT THE BEAT WOULD BE HARDER, SO I’M SLIGHTLY DISAPPOINTED. DOPE BARS THOUGH

    16. This was produced by Sounwave and Thundercat according to Scott Verner. Amazing Song. James Brown + The Parliament Funkadelic + the best of 90’s West Coast Hip-hop. Kendrick continues to raise the bar.

    17. I can dig the funky baseline, but the song is kind of mediocre as a whole. For all you teenagers out there claiming Kendrick to be some sort of king, this stuff doesn’t even come close to the G-Funk era of Dre, Snoop, etc…

    18. Tune is ridiculously catchy. A throwback, an ode to some good old funk music. Kendrick’s spin on this fits seamlessly. I love the fact that when I listen to Kendrick’s music, I’m in for a great storytelling ride. The art of storytelling, and poetry cohesively brought together through music.
“…King Kunta everybody wanna cut the legs off him, Black man taking no losses…from a peasant to a prince to a MF King!”
Looking forward to how everything sounds when viewed in proper context within the full body of work (To Pimp a Butterfly).

    19. This is wack. The beat is trash. Fake g-funk beat.
      Kendrick fell off.
Gametime 2015! Documentary 2 will be anotha classic.
Beats by storch, dre, kanye and other legends. Not this kinda fake funk bullshit sound. Even mustards beats are better.

    20. Beat sounds like one of quiks throw aways. And kenny sounds like hes struggling to rap on it like hes not really feeling it.

    21. this song whack as fukk.i cant picture myself rollin down the westcoast streets with a fine female bout to get sum puzzy… playing this whack song!the bad bitches i know would basically tell me to turn around and take them home. @4sight4life

    22. I think the current rate is fitting because the song is not meant to be perfect. shit flies over peoples head now a days. Enjoy some social commentary its needed now a days.

    23. I see this as the equivalent of Backseat Freestyle (album-structurally speaking). This isn’t the most lyrical track and shows Kendrick being very braggadocios. In the context of Good Kid Mad City’s concept, Backseat Freestyle was a great track while on its own was still good, but not as great (in my opinion). I think this might have the same idea, but until the album comes out its a good catchy track.

    24. Guys – I love Kendrick but this is wack. It’s a bad song. Very average. I’m scared for Kendrick. Everything I’ve heard so far for this album sounds sooooooo average. It doesn’t demand repeated listens . People on here are destroying this guy. His new music sounds hollow and lacking depth

    25. Its not bad track its decent,i expected alot more since everyone was praising it like its on some next level shit.i thought it was going to be like Nas-I gave you power(gun song) or Rewind, I Cant remember but some one said its like CommonI Used to Love her– not even close. its a good song but its not classic. maybe they overhyped it

    26. This was Meh… Joey isn’t that dope… at all. Drizzy needs to come correct on an actual album of merit, Big Sean killed it, and Kendrick has taken so far a left on this concept that we may very well have seen the end of his career. He’s the new Mason Betha.
