Before we enter the new year by getting together with our friends and family for our annual shenanigans, let’s first reflect on the past 12 months. For Hip-Hop’s most thorough and hilarious summarization of the year, we turn to Bekay and his now decade strong, “Year In Review” series. Whereas last year’s iteration had the outspoken spitter dropping bars over Pusha T’s standout hit “Numbers on the Boards,” he’s chosen to continue the tradition by giving us a rundown of 2014 over Diddy’s Drake’s “0 to 100” instrumental. No story is sparred; from Derek Jeter’s retirement, America’s tumultuous relationship with North Korea, Bill Cosby’s rape accusations, and everything else that went down in the world of politics, sports and entertainment, Bekay delivers another hit for us to reminisce over. Let’s hope we can find more peace in 2015, as we’re sure Bekay will come through with another gem for the upcoming year, but only after he drops his long awaited LP, Survivor Man.
