Wu-Tang Clan aficionados are an intense bunch, but when the rumors began that a multi-million dollar price tag was attached to their upcoming project The Wu – Once Upon A Time In Shaolin, eyebrows were raised. The truth of the matter is the rumor is the truth. There is in fact a Wu album with a hefty price tag, and it exists…tucked away in Morocco. Forbes rose to the occasion to not only travel to Morocco, but hear the secret project (read the story here). It didn’t completely work out as planned. Producer Tarik “Cilvaringz” Azzougarh had a few things to say about the project. “Despite everybody thinking that this is some great publicity stunt or marketing ploy, this has been a genuine concept from the get-go,” he tells Forbes. “It happened to get a lot of publicity—great—but it is a genuine concept with a genuine core and a genuine goal.”
