Unfortunately this compilation displays noticeable flaws and questionable direction. With an obvious scrappy conclusion to their release, by dropping The Way I Am by Eminem to the compilation, occurs without any flow or mixture. Another detrimental factor would be their spoken word Intros and Outros, which does not provide this release with consistent tempo. In addition, the decision to embark on the radio edits to some of the commercial tracks take away from mixed CD formula.

Private Party is moderate album that definitely could of reach positive climax with much needed studio time and more commitment to the fundamentals of the mixed CD. However, with all their complimentary live showcases and top notch production, will undeniably increase their fanfare and elevate the status of these talented performers to become worldwide ambassadors of Canada’s urban scene.
