The death of a loved one is never an easy pill to swallow. It’s even harder to deal with when you’re in the middle of putting in work. Yung Miami endured that experience Jai Wiggins, her ex-boyfriend and the father of her son, was killed after being involved in a shooting in 2020.
The City Girl took to Twitter on Tuesday (March 15) to reflect on that stressful time, revealing Wiggins was on his death bed while she filmed the music video for “Pussy Talk” featuring Doja Cat. According to Yung Miami, she barely made it through the shoot given the emotions she was dealing with.
“I filmed pussy talk video while my baby daddy was on his death bed,” she tweeted. “I cried so hard and long between scenes one of the hardest days of my life.”
Yung Miami gave birth to her and Jai Wiggins’ son (who is named after his father), in 2013. In her Instagram post mourning her ex’s death in 2020, the City Girls star paid tribute to Wiggins for being such a great father.

“Babies 1st words are DADA & that’s what you are a FATHER to Jai,” she wrote along with a photo of the two of them together. “You & Jai is peanut butter & jelly always together one thing about you, you don’t play about your son! So humble, quiet & uplifting. I hate this happen to you Jai you didn’t deserve this! Jai need you.”
