City Girls and Nicki Minaj finally buried the hatchet earlier this week, squashing a long-standing beef that stemmed from comments the Miami, Florida duo made about the Young Money Queen years ago.
As Nicki revealed on Twitter on Wednesday (February 2), she had a “great convo” with Yung Miami and JT in which the former rivals were able to hash things out and put their issues behind them.
With the feud now a thing of the past, Yung Miami admits her cold war with Nicki Minaj has taught her a valuable lesson. During her 28th birthday party in Miami Beach on Thursday night (February 3), the “Act Up” star spoke with The Neighborhood Talk about what she’s learned from the whole ordeal.
“Be careful of the things you say ’cause it might catch up with you one day,” she said. “I would tell my younger self to just stop trolling, stop being childish, grow up and be mindful of the things you say because everybody is human.”

Nicki Minaj and City Girls’ beef bubbled to the surface earlier this week when the Queen of Rap explained why she has yet to collaborate with the Miami duo in an interview with The Morning Hustle.
“Whenever you post something on the internet it’s there forever, whenever you say something in an interview, it’s there forever,” she said. “If I, as a regular human, was about to go to dinner with you tonight and then I get something that says, ‘Yo, she don’t really fuck with you like that, she was saying this and she don’t really like you, and she said she hopes you actually never pop or never flourish’… I’m not going out to dinner with you anymore because now I know that I like you but you really don’t like me.”
Nicki seemed to be referencing comments Yung Miami made during an appearance on The Breakfast Club in 2018, in which she declared the City Girls were “Team Cardi” at the height of Cardi B’s rivalry with Nicki Minaj. There are also various old tweets from the duo criticizing Nicki floating around online.
With their issues now resolved, a Nicki Minaj and City Girls collaboration may yet happen, especially with Nicki announcing the three of them are “ready to make new memories.”
