Young Thug and Jaden Smith struck up quite the friendship when they toured together as part of J. Cole‘s K.O.D. Tour back in 2018 – but Thug had some major concerns over Jaden’s lack of female visitors.

During a conversation with Complex published on Monday (October 21), the second-youngest of the Smith clan fondly recalled life on the road with his “Sin” collaborator and said it was the “best tour experience ever.”

“He’s the coolest person ever and we would hang out every single day,” Jaden said of Thug. “He used to always come into my dressing room and be like, ‘Bro, there’s no girls in here.’ And I’d be like, ‘Ah, nah. You know…’ And he’d be like, ‘Bro. Haven’t seen you with any girls. I’m really worried.'”

He continued: “I would go and hang out with people just so that he would see me and wouldn’t worry. That was the best tour experience ever. Free Thug, bro.”

Clearly one to care about his friends, Young Thug recently weighed in on the famous “20 v. 1Drake beef that involved Future and Metro Boomin, among many others, teaming up against the Canadian superstar — and he wants it to end.

Thugger’s X account posted a message on Friday (October 18) that seemed to call for a truce.

“@Drake @1future @MetroBoomin we all bruddas,” he wrote. “Music aint the same without us collabin.”

Future seemed to agree with the sentiment, later retweeting the post.

Thug’s call for peace is notable because the Drake-versus-everyone beef exploded into public view this past March with Kendrick Lamar’s verse on a Future/Metro song, “Like That.” Drake and Metro spent some time shortly afterwards going back and forth as well.

Drake has been publicly supportive of Thug while the latter is on trial for racketeering charges. On October 10 he a posted selfie on his Instagram Stories of himself wearing a hoodie and cap from Thugger’s Spider clothing brand. Drizzy wrote: “I ain’t talking to talk man I really put [bread emoji] on the [briefcase emoji] 3 Jeff.”

Drizzy’s comment suggests that he has been contributing money towards Young Thug’s legal defense, something he has done before with controversial Toronto rapper Top5.
