Kendrick Lamar Torches Drake & J. Cole On Ruthless New Collab: ‘MF The Big 3!’

Kendrick Lamar has dissed Drake and J. Cole in a new verse on Future and Metro Boomin‘s latest project.

The Atlanta rapper and his longtime producer dropped their collaborative album We Don’t Trust You on Friday (March 22), which includes a song called “Like That” with a surprise Kendrick feature.

The former TDE rapper takes a number of shots throughout his verse, kicking things off with a mention of Drizzy and Cole’s No. 1 single “First Person Shooter” with accusations of “sneak dissin’.”

Yeah, get up with me/ Fuck sneak dissin’, first person shooter/ I hope they came with three switches,” he raps.

Kendrick Lamar then directly references “the big three,” which is commonly known as himself, Drake and J. Cole, claiming it’s only him at the top of the rap chain.

He also compares himself to Prince and the others to Michael Jackson, suggesting his work will outlive both of them.

Think I won’t drop the location? I still got PTSD/ Muthafuck the big three, n-gga, it’s just big me/ N-gga, bum, what? I’m really like that/ And your best work is a light pack/ N-gga, Prince outlived Mike Jack’,” he spits.

    K. Dot closes things out by referencing Drake’s 2023 album For All the Dogs and Stephen King’s 1983 novel Pet Sematary.

N-gga, bum, ‘fore all your dogs gettin’ buried/ That’s a K with all these nines, he gon’ see Pet Sematary,” he raps.

    J. Cole mentioned Kendrick Lamar’s name and “the big three” on “First Person Shooter” in October, but took the crown by comparing himself to the late, great Muhammad Ali.

Love when they argue the hardest MC/ Is it K-Dot? Is it Aubrey? Or me?/ We the big three like we started a league, but right now, I feel like Muhammad Ali,” he rapped.

On the other hand, Drake shaded Kendrick by stating it’s just him and Cole who hold the “greatest of all time” title.

Who the G.O.A.T.? Who you bitches really rooting for?/ Like a kid that act bad from January to November, n-gga, it’s just you and Cole,” he said.

We Don’t Trust You was released on Epic Records and also includes uncredited guest appearances from Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, The Weeknd and Rick Ross.

The album includes 17 songs and takes its title from Metro Boomin’s famous tagline, “If young Metro don’t trust you, I’m gon’ shoot you,” which is said by Future.

      1. I think they were just trying to use a play on the word “ruthless” because of the sample that’s used in the track, this ain’t a super torch but they both bout to be in the studio tomorrow tyring to come up with some witty ish for there sneaky reply, at least with K.Dot we don’t have to guess who he’s talking about.

    1. KDot not feeling the friendship between Cole and Drake lol

But nah Cole ain’t done nothing but big up Kendrick this about to get real interesting

    2. I love Metro but can’t bring myself to enjoy Futures voice. It’s nails in a chalk board for me. I don’t know what people are hearing.

    3. This should just be between Cole and Kendrick. Drake isn’t a top 3 rapper. He’s definitely the number one sellout. Cole and kendricks level of self respect, holds them back from taking his crown lol

      1. I been saying this. Cole keep validating Drake but he isn’t in the conversation. Drake has hits but he makes a bunch of pop singing records not RAPPING!!

    4. Drake have been trying hard on his own to beef Kendrick Lamar but always gat eithered , so he technically drag cole inside and they both went to wake the Jedi master. Welcome king Kendrick.

    5. They’re all overrated. I’d say J. Cole is the nicest MC out of all of them. But honestly they all just happened to come out around a time when rap was so DESPERATE for any inkling of talent that mediocre rappers got exalted to a higher pedestal than they deserved. This was around the same time Tyler the Creator, Big Krit, Mac Miller, Wiz Khalifa all came out. And all of them got overrated because there was so little to choose from in hiphop at that point.

    6. Lo guys comes around ever 5 yrs to drop 1 hip hop track b4 he drops some wack ass art album.. Cole >>> k dot

    7. Lol guy comes around ever 5 yrs to drop 1 hip hop track b4 he drops some wack ass art album.. Cole >>> k dot

    8. lol everyone talking about the Kendrick track but not the first track where future dissing Aubrey explicitly. lol. Come on y’all. Rap getting fun again

      1. I’ve been saying that’s why he left TDE. Nobody could come up with a real reason. I figure he just wants to be free to fully disappear into that world and he know he can’t do that with Top Dog and real G’s around him.

    9. SMH. That dis was average as hell. Dude’s delivery is awkward. His voice sounds uncomfortable when he tries to sound aggressive. He’s the most overrated actor I can ever remember hearing for somebody who people put in the GOAT conversation.

    10. Not sure if I’m missing something but I’ve heard diss tracks before and this is weak sauce. You really do over praise Kendrick.

    11. Kendrick definitely has the best catalog of the 3, GKMC and DAMN are classics, a lot of people feel like that about TPAB too. But his last album was garbage, and this gives Cole the runway to wash him on his next shit. Hopefully he tries to…

    12. Kendrick is just like that. He doesn’t need anyone to give him an award saying he’s the best rapper, since he already sees that he’s a legend. Drake, on the other hand, Im not sure he’s a top three, but since he sells out his music and shows, im gonna put him in 3. J. cole is a lyrical miracle.
