Young Buck Says Dr. Dre & 50 Cent Will Executive Produce His Next Album

Just a few weeks after releasing his “Can’t Lose” single, Young Buck has hit Instagram to announce he has a new album on the way, with some serious firepower overseeing the project.

The veteran G-Unit rapper revealed Dr. Dre and 50 Cent are lined up to executive produce the currently untitled LP.

The announcement came via a video uploaded to producer BattleCat’s Instagram account on Sunday (April 15).

“This next Young Buck album goddammit produced by BattleCat and executive produced by goddammit Dr. Dre and 50 Cent,” Buck said. “My bad. I said produced by BattleCat — executive produced by Dre and 50. Young Buck. Breaking news. ‘Can’t Lose,’ niggas.”

Buck’s next LP will serve as his first full-length studio album since 2010’s The Rehab. He has, however, released a number of projects in recent years. His latest, 10 Street Commandments, dropped in December.

This isn’t the only project Buck has teased in recent times though. Back in August, the Nashville native suggested a G-Unit mixtape hosted by DJ Whoo Kid was “coming at anytime,” though it has yet to be released.

As for Dr. Dre and 50 Cent, the two are busy working on various endeavors. Dr. Dre is said to be heavily involved with Anderson .Paak’s new album while 50 Cent is busy working on his various television projects and is dropping occasional singles. Fif’s latest series, The Oath, premiered on the streaming service Crackle in early March, while Season 5 of Power is set to air in July.

    1. Buck who are you kidding it will never see the light of day if Dre and 50 have anything to do with it.

If Kendrick or Eminem come out its bcus Kentrick really a TDE artist. They don’t green light After math for nothin. And Em do his own thing. Check out a article below when DAZ talked about Dre and Snoop producing a Dogg pound album. 5. This news is DOPE! I’ve been always believing Buck is the best in the Unit and both of his first 2 albums were classic. We need Buck with that reality rap; not that trap Buck. With Battlecat and Dre involved, it should stay clear of trap influences.

    6. I can’t listen to any street rap from a dude that smashes (and gets smashed) by men (allegedly)…. no thank you Young “Buck”….

    7. That’s a FUNNY One Buck! Tell Us ANOTHER JOKE! DR. DRE Ain’t F*CKIN’ With Young Buck, Old Buck or NO BUCK! F*CK BUCK… go back to Cryin’ to 50 on tha Phone biyatch!

    8. yall crazy man, you don’t understand. buck grinds the hardest out of gunit outside of 50. Buck will have this album done. 50 and dre only executive producing the album so they don’t even have to be too hands on the project

    9. The one and only good album Buck released was Straight Outta Cashville and it went down hill from there, I actually lost some of the respect I had for him when he turned his back on 50 then a while later I listened to that leaked phone call recording with 50 and he was crying… still I think he’s got talent and wouldn’t mind giving him another chance especially when Dre will be producing the album…
