However, it appears that the relationship with Nicki has come to an end in the wake of her record-breaking, chart-topping and mega-failing hit single ‘TROLLZ’ opposite Tekashi 6ix9ine.
When asked by Real 92.3’s Bootleg Kev whether he would work the Black Barbie again following the collaboration, a coy YG took a dramatic pause before responding after having to be asked again.
“Yeah, dog, I don’t know … my feelings is hurt,” he admitted. “I’m a real street nigga!” he lashed out as he reiterated “I’m cool.”
While 6ix9ine does have loads of beef across Hip Hop, the bad blood between him and YG dates all the way back to March 2018 when the Bompton legend decided to question the rainbow-haired rapper’s gang ties.
Ever since, the two have traded countless jabs on social media. YG dedicated his 2019 single, “Stop Snitchin'” to 6ix9ine post-release.

Although Nicki has yet to respond to YG’s deflection, she did address all criticism directed at her partnership with the controversial artist, who openly admitted he snitched for a lesser prison sentence.
“Hate is a weak emotion, a sign of failure,” she quipped on Instagram on June 25.
YG wasn’t doing radio promo just to start beef, however. On Friday, he followed up his politically charged “FTP” single with the release of “SWAG,” a more fun, upbeat, hype, party track. The song’s cover art features him donning Colin Kaepernick’s San Francisco 49ers uniform and afro while taking a knee.
