Tekashi 6ix9ine popped a bottle of champagne early Monday afternoon (June 22) to celebrate his first chart-topping single, the Nicki Minaj-assisted “TROLLZ.” Unsurprisingly, the polarizing rapper went on an Instagram rant about his newfound, post-prison success and was adamant, “I can’t be stopped! You can’t blackball me!!!”

He added in the caption, “THEY TIRED SO HARD PUSHING SOMEONE ELSES SONG. LET THE WORLD KNOW WHAT YA DID !!!! YOU CANT BLACKBALL MEEEEEE. IM TO BIG OF A STARRRRRRRRRRRR … OH ANNDDDDDDD ALL THE FANBASES THAT TEAMED UP TO PREVENT THIS NUMBER ONE I SAW THAT TOOOOO.

“TROLLZ” arrived on Friday (June 12) and entered the Hot 100 at No. 1 this week. According to Chart Data, it marks the first time a female rapper has topped the chart since 1998 when Lauryn Hill’s “Doo Wop (That Thing)” debuted in the coveted spot.

Nicki celebrated the milestone on Instagram as well — albeit in a much more subdued manner. She couldn’t thank the Barbz enough.

“I love you so much,” she captioned a screenshot of Chart Data’s post. “I can’t thank you guys enough. Omg.”

Elsewhere in 6ix9ine’s Instagram video, he promised he was going on a “seven-day rant” and said if his current followers didn’t want to endure all of that, they should simply unfollow him now.

“They trying to black ball me on radio,” he said. “Apple Music, Spotify didn’t give us no playlistings. I can’t be stopped! I can’t be stopped! Number fucking one! And this is for the fans, this shit can’t be possible without y’all. We beat the industry. I told you I was gonna get to number one. We beat the industry. Fuck is y’all talkin’ bout? Tekashi 6ix9ine’s ‘GOOBA’ Behavior Reportedly Has His Lawyers ‘Concerned’ For His Safety

This is likely the type of attitude that has 6ix9ine’s attorneys worried about his safety. On Saturday (June 20), his lawyer Dawn Florio told The New York Post she wouldn’t
“rest easy until he’s located in a different state with 24-hour security.”

She added, “I’m concerned. Lots of people condemn Danny [Daniel Hernandez] for cooperating with the government. Even a young gang member who wants to make a name for himself could try something.”
