XXXTENTACION Los Angeles Memorial Turns Flash Mob Rowdy

XXXTENTACION memorial held by fans in Los Angeles on Tuesday (June 19) turned rowdy as those in attendance jumped off rooftops, broke into sporadic moshing, and more.

Longtime HipHopDX contributor Eric Diep captured the mayhem on video and shared it to his Twitter account.

In his first post from the memorial, Diep wrote that fans “are about to shut down Melrose.”

From there, he shared video of fireworks being set off, a police helicopter arriving on the scene, and fans jumping off the roof of a building “for X.”

Police appeared to be heavily present as the evening progressed.

The scene in Los Angeles greatly contrasts that of a memorial held for X in Deerfield Beach, Florida, the place of his murder.

South Florida news station Local 10 reports that fans brought candles, flowers, teddy bears, and balloons to the memorial and vigil, which was also held on Tuesday. Graffiti was drawn to pay tribute to the late rapper.

The 20-year-old XXXTENTACION was killed on Monday (June 18) in a suspected robbery. Police have yet to arrest a suspect(s).

    1. i live here. people in california are clowns. a bunch of idiot weirdos on melrose – typical LA weirdos. nobody in the hood had a vigil here. emo kids being weird.

      1. Amen! Too many people in LA are into the weirdo shit and/or meth addicts. Shit changed since the 90s.

        1. You mean in the 90s when people in LA were on weirdo shit and/ or meth addicts? Or are you referring to 1,000 people being killed every year in the hood?

        1. they weren’t being happy, mister “let them be happy”. they didnt have a peaceful vigil like in FL where he actually died… it’s typical LA weirdo follower mindset. I’m all for mourning the dead or honoring their life, but you don’t live here so you wouldn’t understand.

    2. Y’all are buggin, X was this generations 2pac. He stood for something, had a very powerful voice, was fearless, and unfortunately died tragically before his time.

      1. Not facts. You sound like an 03 Greedo clone. It sucks how this kid went out, but dying young isn’t enough to make you an all-time great.
