After a December 16 arrest at his Georgia home resulted in two arrests, Waka Flocka Flame turned himself in to local authorities Monday. Waka’s mother and manager, Debbie Antney, told TMZ the rapper surrendered on his own “because he wanted to do the right thing and didn’t want to run.”
Waka, whose real name is Juaquin James Malphurs, was booked on the following charges: possession of marijuana (less than one ounce), possession of firearm by a convicted felon, possession of hydrocodone, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, violation of probation for driving on a suspended license, violating Georgia’s “Criminal Street Gang and Terror Prevention Act.”
After he initially laughed off the raid, calling the Henry County Police “groupied out,” Waka Flocka Flame is being held on a $31,950; his hearing is set for Tuesday.

UPDATE: After spending two nights in a Georgia jail, Waka Flocka Flame has been released on a bond. The rapper faced various charges after Henry County Police raided his home in November. Despite not being on the property—or even in the state of Georgia at—at the time, Flocka was cited with five different charges. Tuesday, the rapper waived the right to have a court hearing, and his previous probation charge was presumably resolved, which expedited the process.
UPDATE #2: Waka has been cleared of all the charges relating from his December 2010 arrest. According to TMZ.com, the “Hard in Da Paint” 
rapper went before a grand jury in Henry County, Georgia earlier today and was let off the hook on account of insufficient evidence against him. Gucci Mane, who was at Waka’s home when police raided the residence, is still awaiting his trial.
