New Jersey battle rapper Tsu Surf is recovering after being shot in his hometown of Newark.
His manager shared the news on Twitter in the early hours of Thursday morning (July 26), explaining that Surf was undergoing surgery but was expected to pull through. Details on the incident itself remain scarce.
As news spread, many of Surf’s fans, friends and fellow members of the battle rap community sent their support to the man with the most-viewed battle on URL.
