Troy Ave Disses Casanova For Crying About Lack Of Prison Visits

Troy Ave has set his sights on his longtime rival Casanova 2x who’s currently behind bars awaiting trial on drug trafficking and racketeering charges.

On Monday (May 17), Troy uploaded the single art for the Casanova diss track “Assanova” to his Instagram account that included an animated rat wearing a “2x” chain. He also added lyrics from another Kill or Be Killed track “Richer Than My Haters” in the caption.

“Casanova crying folks he jus settin up stage to tell/How the fuk u crying broke wit jus 90 days in a cell,” he wrote. “U sold ya soul for protection/They ain’t protect u to swell/Damn caswell/U the blood they extort on/This occurrence is CLASSIK LIKE THE BOY U TOLD ON/Don’t make me retrieve da paperwork that u wrote on/Can’t get a visit from None of them rappers dicks u rode on.”

The catalyst for the diss tracks appears to be Casanova’s recent Instagram post about people he thought were friends abandoning him.

“SOME PEOPLE I THOUGHT LOVE ME, ONLY NEEDED ME,” he wrote on Sunday (May 16). I GET IT NOW. I WON’T LET THAT GO OVER MY HEAD.” He added, “@taxstone you was right!”

He also shared in a previous post, “BE CAREFUL WHO LIFE CHANGE, THEY MIGHT NOT REMAIN THE SAME WHEN YOU NEED THEM THE MOST!”

That was apparently enough to prompt Troy Ave to break out his pen.

Casanova was taken into custody last December after turning himself in to federal authorities who believe his involvement in the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation gang has resulted in numerous crimes. In January, he appeared in a New York City courtroom in hopes of securing bail but was denied.

Casanova Reportedly Surrenders To Police Following Gang Indictment

U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul Davison said while the defense had presented a “formidable” argument for freeing him on $2.5 million bail, Davison was concerned about the danger Casanova poses to the community.

“When you go back to the history and characteristics of this defense … this is a defendant who has, over the last decade, managed to rack up three serious violent felony convictions,” Davison said. “It is quite reasonable to infer that people who cross (Casanova) get hurt.”

Assistant U.S. Attorney Russell Felton added, “He sits near the very top of a violent organization. He’s one of the top leaders and narcotic suppliers in a large scale operation that was carried out by more junior members of Gorilla Stone.”

    1. because theres no loyalty when will you idiots learn. no one cares unless you have money. then when the money is gone, they are gone. just snitch on all these clowns and make an album with 6ix9ine in 2 years.

      1. Surprisingly…….I gotta agree, and I’m not with that rat shit at all. It’s gonna come down to how close he is w his co d’s. If it’s some bullshit ass relationship for money and protection, I’d say do it…but if that’s not the case and he’s actually close with those dudes then he’s gotta keep his mouth shut and go to bat for himself and if need be, sit his ass down and do his bid.

    2. I swear to God I still don’t know who the fuck these dudes are from yesterday’s picture …

    3. What happened to Troy Ave’s trial? This dude was caught on HD camera shooting a pistol into a crowded club. Then he drove to the hospital and was caught with that gun and other guns. He was arrested. THAT’S HIS CASE. All we’ve been hearing about is Tax Stone’s trial and how it’s been delayed. Just because it happened at the same time don’t make it the same situation. We haven’t heard anything about when Troy Ave’s trial is happening. Is it delayed? Why? Why no updates? You get an automatic 3 years in N.Y. for getting caught with a gun. Do you know how serious it is to get caught shooting one in a crowded club? Even if he gets leniency because of what happened that night, he still has to go to court to explain it. Something ain’t right. He already said he’s testifying against his “enemies” and the “Streets is a myth.” But now he’s comfortable making fun of Cassanova with all the time he’s facing? He seems a little too sure that he’s not about to do time. Hmmmmmm….
