Trippie Redd fans are not thrilled with the Ohio native after he reportedly showed up late and only performed a few songs at a recent concert.
Trippie was booked to perform at Rehab in Richmond, Virginia on Sunday night (January 22) and fans have taken to social media to voice their frustration that they allegedly had to wait outside the venue for hours — and then even longer inside until he showed up to perform just “3-4” songs.
Fans booed the promoters and chanted “refund” during the DJ’s warm-up set while waiting for Trippie to hit the stage. Various clips from the concert show a lack of energy inside the venue as the rapper reportedly showed up at 3 a.m., despite the flyer saying doors opened at 10 p.m.

“Trippie redd at the concert in Richmond was absolutely ass,” one attendee wrote on Twitter. “The venue didn’t know how to treat its customers. Trippie love him to death but 3 hours late. Unless the venue lied and said he was showing up at 10. A lot of people left.”
Another said: “Idk what happened at the trippie redd concert in Richmond but… waiting in the freezing cold rain and waiting till 3 am for him to show up was not the move.”
Trippie has yet to respond to the backlash and it doesn’t appear like the promoters at RVA Motion, who put on the concert, are issuing any sort of refund.
“@trippieredd made us wait 2 hours in the rain and cold then 3 hours in the venue listening to a shit DJ just to walk off after playing 3/4 songs in Richmond,” another fan complained after the show. “Disappointed… we deserve a refund.”
Meanwhile, on the music side, Trippie Redd returned with his star-studded Mansion Musik album last week. The project boasted features from Future, Travis Scott, Lil Baby, Kodak Black, Lil Durk, Juice WRLD, DaBaby, G Herbo and many more.
Chief Keef also served as the LP’s executive producer.
