T.I. has given fans a look at the actual paperwork from the gun case he pinned on his dead cousin Toot to prove he wasn’t a snitch.
On Thursday (February 23), the Atlanta rapper unearthed court documents from the 2003 Fulton County case and shared a photo of them on his Instagram Stories.
According to the last paragraph of the document, the evidence discovered during the “illegal stop, arrest, search and seizure and interrogation” was suppressed and could not be used against him.
“FYI…Can’t Nobody Who Got dey name in other people’s paperwork queustion me about mine!!!! I got it on me…we can have a paperwork party PULL UP…or [shush emoji],” T.I. captioned the photo.
The paperwork supports comments T.I. made in an interview with Trap News Network earlier this week, where he explained the situation with the case and how he “embellished” his retelling of it.
The Grand Hustle honcho reiterated that if he and a friend catch a gun case and one of them died, there shouldn’t anything wrong with the firearm being pinned on the deceased party.
“Off that conversation, I created a set of circumstances and I thought that the embellishment was clear when I said I talked to my cousin and he told me,” Tip said. “Humor, satire and sarcasm, it escaped them.”
The T.I. snitching issue occurred in December when a resurfaced clip from an August 2020 episode of his expediTIously podcast went viral and found him admitting to pinning a gun case on his late cousin to avoid jail time.
Boosie Badazz caught wind of the clip and called T.I. a “rat” during an interview with VladTV earlier this week. He also pulled the plug on their upcoming joint album.
T.I. initially responded to Boosie Badazz by telling him to “pull up” to view his paperwork, before giving a more detailed explanation of the situation during his conversation with Trap News Network.
A number of Tip’s Hip Hop peers chimed in on the situation and either defended or poked fun at him. New York rapper Mysonne supported T.I. and claimed he wasn’t in the wrong for his decision, regardless of “street rules.”
50 Cent took the comedic approach and posted a hilarious video mocking the back-and-forth between T.I. and Boosie Badazz. With the use of some good editing skills, the clip showed Tip and Boosie arguing in Judge Mathis’ courtroom.

We never question actors street cred when they do gangsta movies. Why do we question rappers street cred ? A rap music album is just an audio movie without the visual.
