Tekashi 6ix9ine Accused Of Faking Kidnapping For Album “Buzz”

Defense attorney Devereaux Cannick, who is currently representing one of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s alleged kidnappers Anthony Ellison, has reportedly accused the polarizing rapper of faking his own kidnapping.

According to Page Six, Cannick spoke about the incident during a hearing at a Manhattan courthouse on Friday (August 16).

“No robbery or kidnapping or assault happened,” Cannick said. “He was about to drop another album … gotta get that buzz up. That’s how he makes money.”

Cannick claimed the car used to allegedly kidnap 6ix9ine in July 2018 had been wired by the government prior to the incident.

The attorney made his comments after federal court judge Paul Engelmeyer moved Ellison and fellow Nine Trey Gangsta Blood Aljermiah Mack’s trial back to September 16.

6ix9ine is expected to testify against Ellison and Mack as part of his federal racketeering case. Prosecutors intend to present some of his music videos as evidence at trial. If convicted, Ellison and Mack reportedly face up to life in prison.

The Brooklyn native was arrested last November and pleaded not guilty to multiple felony charges. He agreed to cooperate with authorities in hopes of receiving a lighter sentence, earning the nickname “Snitch9ine.”

        1. Your so bogus. Pac was “shooting cops” lmao. He shot a person, who happened to be a cop, off duty, and Pac had no way of knowing this. Quit BSing like Pac was out there as a thug. Pac was an ACTOR. FYI, imma big Pac fan, I just don’t lie to myself about him being a hypocritical poser.

    1. What’s sad too, is you know for a fact if he gets out of jail soon, he will still likely be a very successful music maker. If nobody signs him, he’ll still get millions of views, and make a great living off of music. Lots of listeners are scummy losers themselves, so don’t care about the personal character of the people they listen to.

        1. I’m someone who doesn’t give views and money to child rapists, snitches, and dbags. Sounds like you got real butthurt but that comment lol.
