Talib Kweli has released numerous projects this year including a surprise mixtape with Fuck the Money.
Recently speaking to HipHopDX in the wake of a recent Complex article that characterized Kweli as one who doesn’t produce music for all moods, the New York native announced he’s working on a new album with producer 9th Wonder and also revealed the features on the project.
“I’ve got an album with 9th Wonder coming out,” he explained via a segment of today’s (September 28) DX Daily. “That album’s got myself, Brother Ali, Hi-Tek, Krysis, Bad Lucc, Problem, Rapsody, Planet Asia, Niko, Pharoahe Monch, Slug from Atmosphere, I’m really, really happy about the place I’m in creatively.”
No release date or title for the project has been named yet publicly.

Migos? Smh.
Migos??
Backpack rappers are the worst, because they give the idea for white boys to step into the ra game. Wish these guys would get lined up against a wall and have their heads beaten inside out with a hammer
So everybody should be party rappers or gangsta rappers?
…..or gangsta party rappers?
lmao gangsta party rappers! then there’s the gangsta love song and the gangsta sad song lmao
migos???…you gotta be kiddin me..will probably be the only song I skip..
why migos?? honestly….WHY?
Wow! migos that Sounds interesting. Checking for this. My man never disappoints…complex writers too young to have listened to reflection eternal or blackstar…
Yo somebody on datoiff said Migos is like the new Bone Thugs n Harmony… I got super excited and started checking out their songs and I got disappointed real quick, 0 to a 100 real quick.
Talib look like he eatin good
This is the best hip hop news I’ve heard all year. This article said nothing about Migos being on his album. What are you children talking about? Talib doesn’t make music with fuck boys and homos.
Wow, DX is playing with us. It definitely said Migos before. They took it off.
Yeah convinced they’re doing it for clicks and Comments I think Im taking my readership elsewhere. Its been a whole lot of things-real may not be one though.
please have a word for slug and brother ali in these comments..
i’m hyped for that album
Fuck kweli*long live the 80s & 90s*
So out of 13 tracks, 8 were not produced by 9th Wonder? So why is this Talib Kweli and 9th Wonder then?
