Takeoff Says Migos Wants Their Flowers Ahead Of ‘Culture III’

There’s a lot of anticipation surrounding Migos‘ upcoming album Culture III. The Atlanta trio got the buzz train rolling when they posted footage of them recording in a mansion called The Compound. Things got serious when Offset shared a snippet of a new song off the album last week on Instagram.

With Culture III‘s impending release, the Grammy-nominated group is ready to reclaim their throne after fans felt they lost their groove after their last album Culture II. Takeoff took to Instagram on Wednesday (March 24) asking their fans — and even the doubters — to give the group proper respect while they’re still here.

“One Of The Greatest Give Us Our [Flowers] While We Can Smell Em That’s All We Ask…#Blessed,” Takeoff wrote in the caption.

Culture II‘s loaded tracklist didn’t stick with fans the way Culture or any of the Migos’ previous releases did. Subsequent singles like “Taco Tuesday” and “Give No Fxk” featuring Travis Scott and Young Thug failed to have any real impact on the Billboard charts, and people began to think the group lost their mojo.

With all the hype surrounding Culture III, the album may be the make-or-break moment for the group. Thankfully, all the footage fans have been getting regarding the album has them feel they’re about to get something special. Nothing proved that more than one of Quavo’s Instagram Stories.

After his public break-up with Saweetie, fans were hoping to see Quavo let off his frustrations with new music and Huncho gave them what they asked. On March 20, Quavo took to his Instagram Stories to share a photo of a microphone accompanied with a fuming emoji.

    1. They deserve their respect, but they also have to learn to give it. They have done their thing in the rap game. But their path to be the best rap groups in their time was very easy, rap groups haven’t really existed in the last 15 years, at least not any new ones with a machine/label behind them. I give them their props for sure, but when it comes to rap groups they’re not close on that list of greatest. To me I gotta go in no particuliar order Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Outkast, Wu Tang, Mobb Deep, The Lox, Ugk, Eightball and MJG, Three six, Public Enemy, Epmd, Run DMC, Cypress Hill, Tribe, De La, NWA, I would even have to put Do or Die ahead of the Migos, DOD didn’t have huge commercial succes but their catalogue is better and they were consistent. In no way I’m I knocking the migos because they definitely have earn they respect. I hope the Migos do get their flowers but sad to say a lot of those groups I mentioned are super legendary groups and still haven’t gotten their flowers.

    2. Migos are trash, and the fact any of you support a group that was put on the scene for nothing more than to poison the culture says alot about your character.

    3. Culture was good. The rest has been trash. Solo albums were wack too. Tired of these dudes and their BS. Drop the album so I can stop seeing articles about the “highly anticipated” upcoming album of which almost nobody is highly anticipating.

    4. FOR WHATTT??? FOR DOING 2 ALBUMS??? THESE YOUNGING DYING SO FAST THEY WANT RECOGNITION BEFORE THEY ACTUALLY INVEST THEMSELVES IN THE INDUSTRY FOR ATLEAST 15 20 YEARS???? GTFOHHHHHHHHHHH . THIS NEW MUSIC IS WEAK MAN. EVEN NEW RAPPERS KNOW SELLING THEMSELVES MAKES MORE MONEY THAN MUSIC. SAD. SAD AND TRASH. AND I LIKE TAKE OFF. BUT FLOWERS? STOP
