T-Pain Says People Should Stop Celebrating Black History Month: ‘Y’all Separating Us Again’

Black History Month is in full swing, and while many are celebrating African-American culture, there are others who rather not take part in the festivities.

On Tuesday (February 1), a dozen Historically Black Colleges and Universities received bomb threats, and TMZ caught up with the always outspoken T-Pain to get his comments on the whole situation.

“It’s always been fucked up, it’s been fucked up for hella years,” T-Pain said in response to the bomb threats. “We take it how we’ve been taking it. We going to make changes, look towards the future and stop looking at the past and we’ll make a change.”

He added, “It ain’t gonna stop unless we have our own shit. Just because we’re HBCUs don’t mean it ain’t owned by someone else. We know what we’ve done, lets make our own shit and we can get in wherever the fuck we want to.”

The TMZ reporter then asked T-Pain what advice he has for white people celebrating the historical month. According to T-Pain, everyone should stop glorifying and mentioning it altogether.

“Stop celebrating,” he said. “Although we celebrate Black History Month, I think we should just have history. They overshot it. We don’t want our own shit, you’re separating us again. We want to be part of history and not just one month of it.”

He continued, “Like we want to be part of history, don’t celebrate one month for us. I’d rather everybody stop celebrating that shit and just let us be part of history and not just, ‘y’all get paid attention to on the shortest month of the year.'”

Kanye West Declares February As 'Black Future Month' & Hosts Conference

Kanye West sang a similar tune earlier this week when he declared February 2022 as the first Black Future Month. He also held a press conference with all attendees draped in Black. NFL star Antonio Brown, Gunna, Shenseea and Fivio Foreign have all been spotted in attendance.

“FEBRUARY IS NOW BLACK FUTURE MONTH #BFM,” Kanye wrote on Instagram with an accompanying photo showing the color black.

    1. Seriously nobody besides Black Lies Matter terrorists and college Liberal turd bags care about Black History Month. You wanna talk and learn about history there’s American History. U wanna know why your families’ all messed up, ask your mothers why spread their legs in front of Black Men who keep walking outta families going to jail and leaving their kids behind and eventually going to Maury saying that’s not my baby. That will explain over 95% of some alleged Black History.

      1. That’s like me saying “Why do your children do mass shootings? Is it because the fathers are on meth and the mother’s wombs are damaged from decades of planned parenthood? That will explain what happens when white people no longer have free labor to exploit”

      2. So you’re basically saying you don’t care about black history without saying you don’t care about black history or people. If America history which was just about white people there would never be a space needed for black history. Bedside the Asians , native Americans, Italians Greeks Latino – a whole, bunch of people celebrate their achievements without any push backs. Just say you’re racist and be done with it.

    2. It’s a nice idea. He’s giving people too much credit though, on both sides of a potential racial divide. Anyway within 4 generations the majority of the world will be ethnically mixed and every current racial discussion will be moot. By the time we figure racism out, it’ll basically be over, at least as we know it…

      1. Great. Let’s not fight racism, let’s just wait it out in hopes we can blend into white society. At least that way, you can have all the sexual access to “exotic” women you like, correct?

        1. Don’t get personal about people you don’t know. We must fight racism. What I’m saying is society and industry are changing at breakneck pace. Our current debates will quickly be outdated in the face of genetic engineering and advanced AI. Like what good is a university if there are no jobs for regular people? A lot of peoples political and social ideas are aimed at a world thats not going to be there much longer.

          1. Racism is about exploitation. The world becoming mixed doesn’t change that. And you have no idea ??‍♀️ what white people have in store. Some people like to use this we all will be mixed because they counting on having sexual access to white women. Mix babies won’t fix stupid.

    3. Black History Month was created for U.S. American Descendants of Slavery by U.S. Descendants of Slavery. Isn’t T-Pain’s lineage Bahamian? This month was not created to celebrate people from the Bahamas. Black immigrants from other countries have always maintained their cultural ties to their countries of origin by calling themselves Haitians, Nigerians, Latinos, etc. “African-Americans” have our own specific culture as well. Black History month was not meant to celebrate the diaspora. He is a guest in AA culture; therefore, he has no say in how ADOS choose to celebrate OUR history. He success is due the fights that my ancestors fought-not his. It’s disrespectful for him to suggest that we should not celebrate our month. T-Pain should be cancelled for cosplaying the MVP of all black people. He is not tribe!

    4. Are there any other black people who can talk and get their point across without cursing?? Not every Black person in this country swears, and I am deeply offended that some blacks and others think this is every day speech for all. This whole c8has lost quite a bit in translation for me

    5. Yes because all Vanessa Davis wanted to be was part of the history for us black ppl. But instead so many use to be poor people who is now rich, decided that I didn’t deserve a shot to attend the festival.??? They ruin my life and I was already struggling. How and why?
