SZA has announced that she’s taking her new album SOS on the road, and Omar Apollo is coming along for the ride.
The Top Dawg Entertainment star revealed the dates for her aptly-titled SOS Tour on Tuesday (December 13), which will take her across North American on her first-ever arena trek in 2023.

The 17-date tour kicks off in Columbus, Ohio on February 21. From there, SZA will hit other cities such as Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Boston, New York City, Atlanta and Dallas before closing things out in Los Angeles on March 22.
Tickets go on sale on Friday (December 16) at 12 p.m. local time at szasos.com.

The tour announcement comes just days after the long-awaited release of SZA’s sophomore album SOS, which arrived on December 9. The 23-track project included the singles “Good Days,” “I Hate U” and “Shirt,” as well as collaborations with the likes of Travis Scott, Don Toliver and the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard.
The five-year wait for SOS already appears to be paying off, with the album occupying the entire top 10 of the U.S. Apple Music chart the day it was released. In doing so, SZA tied the record set by Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy as the female album with the most top 10 hits in U.S. Apple Music history with 13.

On Spotify, meanwhile, SOS broke the record for biggest single-day streams for an R&B album in the streaming platform’s history with 68 million, according to Chart Data.
The project is on pace to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with between 275,000 and 300,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, which would secure SZA her first No. 1 album and mark the highest sales tally of her career.
The New Jersey native recently spoke to Glamour about SOS, saying she was unapologetically herself at every turn on the album.
“It’s about heartbreak, it’s about revenge, it’s about being pissed,” she said. “I’ve never raged the way that I should have. This is my villain era, and I’m very comfortable with that. It is in the way I say no, it’s in the way I’m deciding what I’m taking, what I’m not taking. It’s in the fucked up things that I don’t apologize for.”

She continued: “I am a bitch — it’s not all the time, but when I am, that’s okay. I don’t have to spend my whole life trying to be a nice girl. It’s just not who I am. But I am a good person.”
SOS serves as the follow-up to SZA’s Grammy-nominated 2017 debut Ctrl, which featured Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Isaiah Rashad and James Fauntleroy.
