SZA just dropped a surprise release centered around a song she previewed during the 2024 GRAMMY Awards.
Released on Thursday (February 22), the five-pack bundle for “Saturn” includes the main version along with the live version from the Grammys, a sped up version, the acapella and the instrumental.

The track was written and produced by SZA alongside Carter Lang, Rob Bisel, Solomonophonic and Monsune.
“If karma’s really real/How am I still here?/Just seems so unfair/I could be wrong, though,” she sings on the track.
The new song arrives just days after SZA got seven new gold and platinum certifications for songs released as part of 2022’s SOS.
“Open Arms” featuring Travis Scott, “Seek & Destroy” and “Ghost In The Machine” featuring Phoebe Bridgers all reached platinum status for the first time (meaning each cut sold over 1,000,000 equivalent units), whereas “I Hate U” and “Snooze” went three and four times platinum respectively. Most notably, “Good Days” attained 6x platinum status.

Additionally, “Conceited” has been certified gold, with 500,000 equivalent units sold.
It’s been a great 2024 thus far for SZA, who added “Grammy Award winner” to her biography as she took home three of her nine awards she was nominated for at this year’s ceremony: Best R&B Song for “Snooze,” Best Progressive R&B Album for SOS and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Ghost In The Machine” with Phoebe Bridgers.
Taking to her Instagram Story to react to her wins earlier this month, SZA wrote: “So grateful for my family, friends and entire team. There’s NO way I could’ve done anything w out their PATIENCE and understanding [teary-eyed and handshake emojis]”
A few months back, TDE exec Terrence “Punch” Henderson took to the platform as well to wax poetic on the “surreal” success of SOS, writing: “Man. Sitting here thinking about all of the success and conversation surrounding SOS.”

As a result of the success of the album, SZA became the first woman in R&B to top the chart for five consecutive weeks at any point following an album’s release in the 21st century.
