Snoop Dogg Teases Champions Basketball League

After establishing his Snoop Youth Football League, it seems Snoop Dogg is ready to enter the basketball business.

In an Instagram post made Saturday (May 27), the Long Beach legend shared what appears to be a star logo that says “Champions Basketball League.” While there are few details, Snoop promises it’s “Comin soon.”

Ice Cube is also starting a new basketball league, BIG3. The three-on-three league, which is for retired NBA players, is set to kick off this summer with the backing of Allen Iverson, Kenyon Martin and Gary Payton.

And in the NBA, The Finals tipoff Thursday (June 1) in a rematch between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors.

      1. Hey….why do you spell words incorrectly? Can you explain what is going on in your mind as you intentionally type it?

    2. and yet another shitty weekend at the hiphopdx blog with no posts, cause the internet stops working on saturday and sunday right?

    3. All this stuff is interesting to me…who wouldn’t love to see the retired greats play again? And we all know Snoop is really good with sports, so I’d like to see this team do well. Big ups!

    4. How is seniors NBA going to work? A game every week or two(to let people recuperate), no athleticism(to old and broken), skills not dependent on athleticism on display and lots of smack talk. Smack talk alone would make it more entertaining than the current NBA finals but that bar is very high.
