Snoop Dogg has emerged victorious in a lawsuit filed by a woman who claimed the Doggfather sexually assaulted her.
Court documents obtained by Radar Online on Monday (May 22) reveal that the woman — who filed under a Jane Doe pseudonym to protect her privacy — had the majority of her lawsuit thrown out by a California judge, but was given leave to refile an amended complaint in federal court as long as she met the appropriate deadline.

When Jane Doe failed to refile the claim in time, the entirety of the lawsuit was dismissed. There is, however, a possibility that she may refile against Snoop Dogg in the future, as Radar claimed that the case was dismissed without prejudice.
The legendary rapper had no comment for the outlet at press time.

Back in July 2022, it was revealed that the alleged victim (identified only as Jane Doe) sued the West Coast rap icon in February, claiming he forced her to perform oral sex on him at his recording studio in 2013. The lawsuit, which Snoop’s team dismissed as “meritless” and “extortive,” was voluntarily dismissed in April.
But in another turn of events, the woman and her legal team resubmitted the lawsuit at a California district court on Wednesday (July 20), per Rolling Stone. It includes the original sexual assault and sexual battery claims, as well as a defamation claim alleged in an amended complaint filed in March.
The woman claims Snoop Dogg (real name Calvin Broadus Jr.) intended to “threaten, intimidate and coerce [her] into not exercising her constitutional rights to engage in a mediation” via a thinly-veiled Instagram post addressing the original lawsuit.
“Gold digger season is here be careful Nefews keep ya guards up,” he wrote in the post. The lawsuit was filed just days before his Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show performance alongside Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak.

The revived lawsuit also claims Snoop threatened to “pursue a malicious prosecution action” against the woman for “tens of millions of dollars” in retaliation. Further “scaring” and “intimidating” her, he allegedly gave his spokesperson permission to reveal her identity in a statement issued after the initial filing.
“The complaint refiled today against Snoop Dogg by ‘Jane Doe’ and her attorney is meritless,” a spokesperson for Snoop Dogg said in a statement obtained by HipHopDX. “It follows Jane Doe’s attorney’s voluntarily dismissing just a few months ago her previous complaint on the alleged matter. He also dismissed an earlier complaint – this is the third try.”
