Gillie Da Kid was in a celebratory mood after he received a pair of gold, diamond-encrusted Death Row chains sent to him and Wallo by Snoop Dogg.

Over the weekend, Gillie took to social media with a clip of his reaction to receiving the chains from the Doggfather, and it’s safe to say he loved the gift. The clip opens with a look at the two chains and Gillie yelling at the top of his lungs that he’s a part of the label now.

“I’m just noticing you sent us Death Row pieces Unc. Oh shit, Unc. I’m a part of the Row, baby!” he screamed while laughing with his crew. “Oh shit, Unc! I did not know you sent us no fucking Death Row pieces, man. I love you, Unc! I’m on Death Row, bitch! I ain’t even giving Lo his shit, I’m doubling up. Two Death Row chains!”

Hopefully, Wallo got his gift, as Death Row chains are becoming a hot commodity these days. Over the last few months, Snoop has been giving away label chains to his friends, some expected while others not so much.

Earlier this month, Snoop gifted pop superstar Ed Sheeran and actor Russell Crowe with gold Death Row Records chains during the Melbourne, Australia stop of his I Wanna Thank Me Tour.

Footage of the star-studded hangout surfaced on social media over the weekend, and showed the unlikely trio kicking it backstage at Snoop’s concert at the Rod Laver Arena. Ed Sheeran seemingly couldn’t wait to have Snoop place the chain around his neck, while Russell Crowe was seen admiring the neckpiece from its red gift box.

In January 2022, the 51-year-old kept his promise and gave Eli Manning a Death Row chain for his 41st birthday.

“Oh yeah, there she is, that’s what we’re talking about,” Manning said in a social media video as he opened the box. “Snoop, thank you pal, now I finally fit in with all of my neighbors. So I’m definitely going to be wearing it in the playoff game on Monday Night Football.”

Even Golden State Warriors All-Star guard Steph Curry received one last summer when a video of Snoop putting it around his neck surfaced online.

“Had to give the MVP his death row chain,” Snoop wrote in the video’s caption. Atlanta star LaKeith Stanfield also slid into Snoop’s comments and wrote: “I want [one] unc.”
