Snoop Dogg blasts Arnold Schwarzenegger following the release of Esteban Nunez.
Long Beach rapper Snoop Dogg was less than pleased with former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, and his past decision to commute the sentence of Esteban Nunez, the son of a political ally.
Nunez, who pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in 2010 in order to serve a reduced 16-year sentence, was released on Sunday (April 10).
“Arnold Schwarzenegger’s a straight bitch,” Snoop Dogg said in an Instagram video. “Punk mothafucka. How the fuck you gonna let this nigga out of jail, nigga? But you gonna kill Tookie Williams. Cause homeboy was your friend. You’s a bitch. You’s a punk. Mothafucka. I can’t stand you. You’s one mothafuckin racist, piece of shit. Fuck you, Arnold Schwarzenegger. You got the right name, nigga.”
The family of Luis Santos, the man allegedly stabbed to death by Nunez, also had strong words for Schwarzenegger.
“My son (was) stabbed in the heart when he was alive,” Fred Santos, Luis’s father said, according to CNN. “Schwarzenegger stabbed him in the back after my son is killed.”
In 2005, Crips founder-turned-activist, Stanley “Tookie” Williams asked Schwarzenegger, who was governor at the time, for clemency. His request was denied, and on December 13, 2005 Williams was executed by lethal injection.
