In a case of adding insult to injury, Kanye West’s music has been banned by Sacramento radio station Hot 103.5 following his show in the city last week.
Yeezy’s now-infamous show in Sacramento saw him perform just three songs before descending into a viral rant where he talked about topics like Jay Z, Beyonce and Donald Trump. Once he was finished speaking, he abruptly finished the concert.
Justin “JayMarZZ” Marshall, who is the music director at the station, explained the decision to ax Kanye’s music from their airwaves. During a broadcast he said: “Everybody came out to have a great time Saturday night. A lot of fans in the building, a lot of people had spent a lot of hard earned money, bro. A lot of hard earned time – time, time, time. Time is something we can’t get back. Everyone can get a refund back, but you can’t get your time back,” according to KXTV.
“You can’t get the emotion back that you were gonna put into that show, to watch someone that you love. The person you buy their music to perform. This is called ‘a moment,’ folks. These are what make our lives. Moments and memories to share with each other and stuff, and he took that from people Saturday night.”
It’s a move that could be somewhat callous given that Kanye West has since been hospitalized for temporary psychosis brought on by lack of sleep and dehydration, forcing him to cancel his remaining tour dates — but it seems like they’re standing by their decision for now.
Sacramento has the most crappy hip hop scene. C-Bo and Brotha Lynch are the most famous rappers to come out of that area and there borh total garbage and that was 10 plus years ago when they had some sort of street buzz. I live in the bay and nobody is checkin for any Sac Town rappers believe that. They should feel lucky that Kanye even went to that shitty azz city. Sacramento radio doesnt even support there own local artist. Btw your weather sucks like your crappy ass airport and the Kings are the worst NBA team to ever do it. Also how is this radio manager gonna say that Kanye is someone they love “to watch someone they love” and then completely turn their back on him if he’s having a mental breakdown? That’s how you do someone you love? You don’t love him, you love yourselves and you love how his music makes you feel, but you don’t care about him as a human.
But it’s not like this is the first time he’s stood up a crowd or made an ass of himself. People might be more forgiving and he might do good for more people if he stood up and acknowledged he has mental health and or substance abuse issues.

all i know…if i paid 100+ for a ticket and the dude bounced after 30 mins id be pissed too. for lesser know artists i go and see ur talking 15-30 a ticket and they give u a full hour…ive noticed the more local venues that have lesser know artists perform are my best concerts…the “arena” rappers give u some 30 min, lets play all the hits and talk every 2 songs bullshit, are the worst shows

Most hiphop heads listen to xm satelite radio at least i do. Commercial radio is flat with bad rap music and rapper with no mc skills. Kanye is a human being even he can get sick days.
The ONLY reason he is in the hospital is to file an insurance claim and get paid the rest of his money for the cancelled shows and the rest of the tour. He knew that people weren’t feeling his bullsh*t and was afraid to continue on with the tour. But, if he cancelled his tour he wouldn’t get paid… UNLESS he had some sort of illness that prevented him from performing.
