Rick Ross Releases Statement Regarding Meek Mill’s “Dreams Worth More Than Money” Album

Rick Ross has released a statement regarding the status of Meek Mill’s Dreams Worth More Than Money album, which was slated for a September 2 release.

“MMG and Meek Mill have decided to release Dreams Worth More Than Money at a future date,” Rick Ross says in a statement, according to MTV. “In true MMG fashion, Meek has dedicated himself to perfecting his sophomore project and it is only right that it should be rolled out exceptionally well. MMG also wants his fans to know that Meek is doing great and he wants to hear from you. So write him at.

In the meantime, keep looking out for new music from the project, keep supporting Meek and KEEP DREAMING! #MMG4LIFE.”

Last month, it was reported that Meek Mill will remain in jail until at least October 11.

The rapper went before a judge August 18 and asked to be released from jail in order to return to his career and to support his son and others. Instead, the judge ordered the Philadelphia artist to take anger management classes and a parenting class.

The MMG rapper has been on probation for about five years and has not been accused of committing any crimes during that time, according to reports, though he failed a drug test in 2014 and also appeared to feature a gun in a music video this year. His attorney said that he had a prescription for the OxyContin after an injury and that the weapon used in the video was a water pistol, not an actual gun.

    1. in other words…’the nigga locked up so we aint droppin an album till he out and can do press n interviews n shit to push it” Prolly drop the shit in december n get that xmas loot

      1. Meek got about another 30 days or so, I hope this is a wake up call for him to be a little mo’ careful and not give dem folks no reason to put him back in the bing.

    2. This was a no brainer you cant promote an album effectivley from inside the box, I was looking forward to the new album but we still got T.I., Raekwon, Game, French, Boosie, Fab and Stalley.

    3. Another Maybach Music classic from the likes of Meek Mill, one of our finest and most loyal soldiers. Besides Ross and myself, Meek is the definition of a hustler and a hard worker with a true vision that he wants to come to fruition, and that is become one of the most successful and viable artists in the game. You can hate him on Meek all day long, but at the end of the day, what you say to him makes him no never mind. Though he may be incarcerated at the moment, I’m sure he’s concentrating on becoming a much better and more positive person once he’s released. Meek, you are my brother and I love you. Your strong passion for this art is what keeps us going and inspire us to place two feet forward and keep them going towards the future. You truly are a model citizen and recording artist with amazing potential. You have supporters who wish you nothing but the absolute best and would like you rise above your mistakes and become someone we can all aspire to become. And perhaps the anonymous haters that plague this wretched site will come to understand that though they may be broke, ugly, and ignorant, they just don’t know any better. Maybe their parents never taught them a thing or two about tact and how to respect others, or maybe they’re still jealous of the overnight success you’ve reached in the past 2 -3 years. Whatever their issue is, as one of your loyal supporters and followers, we shall see that the bridge to your success is strengthened with overpowering love and positivity. I hope to see you performing on stage and selling out shows like you used to. Until then, take care, my friend. -Rozay O’Donnell

      1. While I salute your conviction I have to disagree with the term “overnight success” with anything regarding Meek Mill. Meek was grinding for years and years trying to get put on, he was about 8 mix tapes and 10 million total views on YT before Ross gave him the platform.

    4. my nigga pac wit plat when MATW dropped..he was locked up.

i bet this album would of sold more than animal ambition if it dropped right now..it probly out sell jeezy shit too

    5. Not that it was any surprise but officer ricky did say a month ago it would still drop as scheduled. Ross lied to his face again.

    6. RICK ROSS commented on this? He’s in lawsuits right now with MMG trying to get his name back from a fraud ass rapper who use to tell people like meek mill to sit down and shut the fuck up in prison. Ohhh this is the fake rapper William Roberts the 3rd you speak of? Ohhhh my bad…

    7. CEC Hoffman Hall is a facility that the Philadelphia Prison System contracts with to house up to 400 of the Philadelphia inmates. At this site, inmates receive a special drug, alcohol and education program.

      1. Meek seems pretty clean and sober on the outside looking in and the DA didnt say he violation was drug/alcohol related so he is most likely taking advantage of the educational programs and stay close to family.

      2. Actually I specially read in a few articles that Meek failed a drug test which was only one of numerous offenses that landed him in the slammer.

      3. bogus scripts meek poppin pills on some junkie shit. oxy is bad i hope he’s getting the treatment he needs to focus on his music.

      1. Of course not, if he did he would usually run out of breath by the the third word and end it up with ” You kno what Im sayn”

    8. Officer Rozay lookin out for Meek in there. Made sure his peeps know just to gently finger his anus, no fisting for Meek Millz

    9. Wale dropping soon and Stalley is dropping October 8th so Meek won’t be dropping in 2014. Atlantic wouldn’t have been able to give him 100% with Wiz and Trey still bubblin but maybe who knows?
On another note its kinda sad that HHDX hasnt shown more love to Jeezy with some headlines since his album is here.

    10. wale bout to have 3 mmg albums before meek gets 2 or gunplay the most loyal friend gets a release date for the first album

    11. Anyone I see wearing a Free Meek Mill shirt is getting smacked and robbed. He’s doing 3 months in a minimum security drug treatment center for violating probation… when there’s cats doing real time for stuff they didn’t do!

      1. If you are emotionally weak enough to committ assault and robbery over a T-shirt you better be emotionally strong to do 5 to 9 in a maximum security.

      1. He took his mother out the hood and put her in her first house, that was his dream as a kid so no matter what happens his dream came true. 🙂

      2. LOL I doubt that was his dream as a kid, what a corny dream. I wanted to be a ball player when I was a kid… but then again my parents had real jobs so we have a house.

      3. Homie said his dream was to play with balls when he was a kid…parents and a house and he still ended up a loser.

      4. just cause a nigga cant jump dont mean he cant dream fool. the homie was talkin about childhood dreams and how abnormal it is for a child to dream about buying his momma a house when she could have gotten a job and bought her own.

      5. @ANON3 Every man dreams of doing big things for their parents to show them our appreciation
for making us the succesful men that we are but some little boys only dream about being the next
Tom Brady or getting an everday job…small dreams for small minds,

    12. He’s the worse publicist ever

Google Exclusive King Of Age!!! and watch that music video. Not Going To Saturate You With Guns, Drugs & Women. Morals Is Fresh!!!

    13. Meek Mill needs to fire him for working in his public relations department

Google Exclusive King Of Age!!! and watch that music video. Not Going To Saturate You With Guns, Drugs & Women. Morals Is Fresh!!!

      1. First the profits go to Eminem (Shady) and then to Dre (Aftermath) and then to Iovine (Interscope) and then to the label (Universal)….

      2. yet somehow 50 is still top 5 on forbes with all those profits going to others LOL…

Meek Mill earns less than Wale and even Mac fuckin Miller.

      3. …..and the best part is that NONE of those profits got to YOU.

You earn less than all the people you mentioned, LOL, at least those Fiddy CDs you purchased helped your Black Super Hero make the Forbes list.

      4. Meek is in a great position to release his album whenever he wants and charge for it to while a certain “famous” band (won’t say who it is but they crawled to apple for this), after falling the fuck off, crawled to apple today and begged them to take their album for free. That’s the only way Eew2 can get music out.

      5. Meek isn’t in a good position to release his album whenever he wants and charge for it. That certain band (who never fell off) didn’t crawl to anyone and and didn’t beg Apple to take their album. U2 can release music anytime they want.
