Meek Mill Announces “Dreams Worth More Than Money” Album

Meek Mill announced that fans can expect his sophomore album, Dreams Worth More Than Money, this summer during a recent appearance on REVOLT.

“I had to let ’em know right here on REVOLT,” Meek Mill said, “my new album, sophomore from Meek Milly, Dreams Worth More Than Money, this summer it’s going down.” Meek Mill’s debut, Dreams &Nightmares, was released in the Fall of 2012 via Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group and Warner Bros. Records. That album, which featured his label boss as an executive producer, yielded singles like “Amen,” “Burn,” and “Young & Gettin’ It.”

During his appearance on Revolt, Meek also broke down his progress on the making of Dreams Worth More Than Money and who fans can expect to hear on the production side of things. “I had to let’em know, we like 80% done,” he said. “Me and Diddy been cookin’, me and Rozay been cookin’, me and Kiss been cookin’, me and everybody been cookin’ and we just been getting it right. That’s how just how it’s going down, Dreams Worth More Than Money, this summer.” Diddy, who owns the Revolt network in a partnership with Comcast, rushed the stage during the Meek Mill interview.

Describing the producers he’s worked with in making his latest Dreams title, Meek Mill referenced credits from Diddy himself as well as DJ Khaled. “Diddy doing a lot of production,” he said, “Khaled doing a lot of production, I’m looking forward to working with Swizzy, Timbaland, I got my producers Mechanic, OZ—a lot of people done production on this album so it’s going down.” Diddy, still on stage, interjected, “he’s in rare form” in reference to Mill’s performance on Dreams Worth More Than Money. Watch the announcement via Revolt below.

Meek Mill announced the news alongside fellow Philadelphia native DJ Damage. Earlier this week, Damage offered his thoughts on Rick Ross’ then-upcoming performance at Revolt headquarters to HipHopDX. “To watch his growth as an artist has been motivating,” he said. “Ross literally speaks things into existence. This album, Mastermind, [in my opinion], sounds incredible. I love the production and the artistry. For him to perform these tracks in our courtyard right outside of our Revolt Live studio is amazing. The event is totally free for fans to come and experience the growth of Rozay. I am pretty sure he will have some surprise guests as well.”

      1. That one child keeps name dropping Mac Miller like Mac Miller is his hero, LOL, I bet he looks like Mac Miller. He brags on Mac Millers money like its his own.
Congrats to Mac Miller he can appeal to the people who listen to Eminem and Macklinmore, those people that helped Vanilla Ice go Diamond.

      2. “Says who? Mac M.’s accountant right?”

Says Forbes, Mac M got that Rick Ross money, they were tied last year. Mac Miller is the BIGGEST BOSS WE’VE SEEN THUS FAR.

      3. he ballin harder than Meek and everyone on MMG apart from Ross but you would never think so if you listened to their music

      4. “You act like Mac Miller is a billionaire. He’s not ballin that hard.”

He had a good year but he isnt ballin enough to run his own label yet, just a white rapper with white fans, sorta like Eminim and Vanilla Ice.

I dont know how much Meek is worth but his team are shining and he took his mother out the Hood.

      5. Not everyone wants to start their own bum ass label full of scrubs and weed carriers. Thats more of a ghetto black guy thing.

      6. Its important for young Black entrapanuerers like Meek to start their own companys because it angers white conservatives and right wing radicals.

      1. “Meek Mill is a Philadelphia born rapper who has a net worth is $1.5 million.”

        Millionaire my ass nucca.

      1. I agree with Anonymous2, DCR is just a logo like that BadBoy logo or the Aftermath logo, it is just a fancy design that the rap guys use for decoration.

      2. Bad Boy and Aftermath sold MILLIONS. Meek sold like 300k. I would hate to be under someone who can’t go gold who’s under someone who can’t go plat.

      3. I beliive what the last guy said, I want to sign with a rapper based on record sales and platinum and Gold placks because Eminem is the biggest selling rapper in the industry and helped Yelowolf go platinum.

      4. ” Eminem is the biggest selling rapper in the industry and helped Yelowolf go platinum.”

If a white rapper like Yelawolf only sold like 150k under EM how well you think someone under Meek Mill is gonna do in this industry in 2014? He would be better off opening a bar or a restaurant cause his label gonna flop.

      5. Your success as a rapper in regards to record sales is based on the record selling success of your Boss. This is fact.

    1. “Says Forbes, Mac M got that Rick Ross money”

For one time period lol Ross’s net worth is much higher which it should be. He’s been in the game for ten years.

    2. “Says who? Mac M.’s accountant right?”

Mac got cheese last year, he did a nationwide tour for screaming white teens and he caked up but he aint no Boss, niggas afraid to sign to a white rapper after what happened to 50Cents.

      1. How can a dude with no record deal body a dude with a major deal? Fact is Cass was hiding cause he couldn’t raise the 100,000 lol

      2. “How can a dude with no record deal body a dude with a major deal?”

What does a record deal have to do with bars and lyrics?

Meek lost that battle, got embarrassed, lost respect from a lot of people, even in his own city.

    3. All he talks about is money lol

most of todays fans are very easily impressed by rappers that brag

    4. Rozay probably signed Meek to some fucked up slave deal just like the one he signed when he came in the game that’s still haunting him to this day!

Ross still paying Slip-N-Slide records a cut from everything he releases after all these years, even Mastermind. How can you call yourself a boss if you have multiple bosses yourself you gotta split everything with?

      1. I dont see Meek doing any complaining, the deal he signed with Rozay changed his life and made him a rich man who now owns his own label.

If Rozay and Slip N Slide still have a partnership then good for them they helped Rozay get his feet in the door. Some rapper/CEOs never mentor their artists properly so their artists never get endorsements or build their own brand and eventually turn on their Boss.

      2. “a rich man who now owns his own label.”

I’m sure Dream Chasers Records is going to be one of the most successful labels in the rap game with Meek Mill running the show LOL,

I hope he’s saving some money cause from the outside it looks like he’s spending more than he’s earning. For someone who’s only worth 1.5 million he sure got a lot of leased cars.

    5. Really surprised to see he has the words Dreams and Money in his album title. Figured he would have got really deep on us.

    6. I’m looking forward to not buying this project. It sounds like he’s stupid crazy rich already judging by all his raps so he won’t miss my $15.

    7. Diddy doing a lot of production, he said, Khaled doing a lot of production.. Show me one beat those weak ass niggas did on they own without an army of producers around. Those fags couldn’t even make a loop. Always takin credit for other niggas talent

      1. You couldnt be more stupid, some producers cant even play an instrument or loop a sample but you put them in the studio and they know the exact sounds to out together to make a hit record.

    8. Meek Mill made a song called 2Pac’s Back when his boss was that nigga who woulda been checking 2Pac’s crack when get got locked up.

      1. The gay guy with the crack fantasy was most likely sexually abused by a male doctor or a family member. People who have been sexually abused like to make jokes about sexual situations to ease their pain.

    9. money money money money money.

thats all this nigga rap about. sucks cause he was pretty dope before he lets all that money go to his head.

      1. meek shows 50 love all the time and take pictures with him the same night 50 and g-unit beat down gunplay and took his mmg chain! LOL

      2. Meek gives T.I. and 50 a salute for trying to sign him but Meek is very intelligent and knew that signing with 50 or even doing a song with 50 would hurt his carrer.

      3. Meek said 50 made the REALEST song he ever heard, I never heard him say anything like that about his boss

    10. dreamschasers 1-3
      dreams and nightmares
      dreamchasers records
      dreams worth more than money

wtf is with dude’s obsession with dreams n shit, call this nigga dreem mill with his dreamin ass

      1. i bet he dont even have dreams cause of all that dope he be smoking. i couldnt remember any of my dreams until i stopped smoking on that chronic.

      2. Meek is living his Dreams, he was a nappy-headed spitter living a life of poverty committing petty crimes and going back and forth to jail and then he met Rozay and became a star and a businessman.

    11. Meek Mill doesn’t scream, that’s eminem, one of your heroes. Also, Meek Mill is getting albums out while lloyd banks can’t. Also, Meek Mill and Ross are buddies for life while banks and 50 hate each other because banks can’t get an album out.

      1. banks doesnt want to get an album out, he lazy and smokes weed and fucks bitches all day,

also banks sold more records than meek, is richer than meek and can rap circles around meek

      2. Vanilla Ice outsold Meek and Banks together with only one album isn’t it awesome dude?

Banks doesent want to have anything to do with 50 and either does Yayo, people distance themselves from 50 because he is so feminine and unhappy.

      1. Damn homie just 1 platinum album.back in those days artists like Chingy could go Platinum twice and then Gold.

      2. LOL Anon1 platinum has been dead since 2006 the only people obsessed with “platinum” are idiots living in the past or cheesy YMCMB fans who think Platinum is equal to quality.

    12. “For someone who’s only worth 1.5 million he sure got a lot of leased cars”

Colin Kaipernick is making $973,000 this season.

      1. Dont know who that is but it’s probably more than Meek Mill will earn this year despite all those Ghosts and Rolls Rollies he’s always rappin about. LOL

    13. “Meek sold like 300k”

Which was more than several other rap acts, and just shy of Nas who couldn’t even go gold despite critical acclaim for his last album.

      1. Mac Miller sold just as much as Meek Mill on an indie label with no singles.

J Cole sold almost as much as Meek Mill’s album did in his first week!

    14. “he ballin harder than Meek and everyone on MMG”

Meek’s been on tons of albums, plus Wale has a platinum single. What’s MM done besides build fake hype through You Tube?

      1. MM had his own MTV show. I dunno what else but he was on the bottom of that Forbes list tied with Rick Ross and Jeezy, Meek and Wale weren’t LOL.

      2. MM aint giving niggas jobs so he can eat a dick, fuck him, Goldigger hoes pocket-watching and dont see the big picture, LOL that kid is beaming with pride because a white rapper made the Forbes list other than Eminem, whoopty doo mufuggah.

      3. You don’t think that MTV show gave people jobs? I bet you Mac Miller feeding more people than Meek Mill ever did with his lil 1.5 million networth and bum ass record label.

      4. Macklemore was on there too doing it big. Doin what Rick Ross has never been able to do, go platinum, and he did it on an indie without the backing of the entire industry!

    15. I guess we can brag about how Lloyd Banks went platinum 10 years ago back when the Ying Yang Twins were going “Platinum” every year. LOL, who was the rap clown that got fans to focus on sales so much and berate the rappers like Styles P who don’t sell that much?

    16. They could have done Rick Ross on here but he never got out from under Slip-N-Slide records despite all those claims of being a boss. Ted Lucas owns his ass fo life.

    17. No.

What? That wasn’t a good enough answer for you? What more do you need to know? You’re really gonna make us get into this??? Ughhh. OK fine.

Over the last few days we’ve received a few angry emails and comments from Celebrity Net Worth visitors who believe our estimate for Rick Ross’ net worth is way too low. We currently have Mr. Ross at $28 million. Not exactly a pittance, but according to the angry emails, this number should be raised to $92 million. More precisely, they think the number should be raised to $92,153,183.28. Where are people getting this number? None other than Ricky Rozay himself! Here’s what’s going on

On March 3, 2014, Rick Ross released his sixth studio album “Mastermind”. The third track of the album is called “Drug Dealers Dream”. Not to be picky, but the word “Dealers” in that song title should technically be “Dealer’s”. That’s a possessive noun. This track starts out with an audio recording of one of those automated voices reading a bank checking account balance. The automated voice dryly states: “Please hold while I locate your information. Your checking account balance is $92,153,183.28. This reflects the most current information available on your account.”

Clearly the implication here is that Rick Ross called up his bank, selected the option to check his account balance and then recorded the results. All $92 million worth of results. But is this possible? Could Rick Ross really have this much money sitting in checking? Is he following the Floyd Mayweather savings and investment plan? (A few months back, Floyd Mayweather showed a reporter his ATM receipt that had a checking account balance of $125 million.) Or is this just a run-of-the-mill rapper exaggeration?

First off, if somehow this brag is true, keeping $92 million in a checking account would be a colossally stupid way to allocate money. Checking accounts might AT MOST earn around 0.50% interest nowadays. The national average is probably closer to 0.10%. Splitting the difference, Rick would be earning just $184,000 in interest per year off his massive wealth. That’s not nothing, but as any basic financial planner would explain, taking the money out of checking and putting it into mutual funds, ETFs, maybe a few stocks, should conservatively be able to yield a 5% rate. That would bring Mr. Ross $4.6 million a year from interest alone. If he got lucky with the right hedge fund, Rick might be looking at $10-$15 million.

The second big problem with keeping that much money in checking is the fact that only $500,000 is insured by the FDIC. If Rick’s bank goes under, which as well know isn’t exactly impossible nowadays, Rick’s money would evaporate overnight without any recourse.

Ok so we’ve established that keeping $92 million in checking is clearly a bad idea. The more important question is whether or not Rick Ross actually has $92 million in the first place. Our current estimation of Rick’s net worth is $28 million. That number might go up in a few weeks when we release our annual list of the richest rappers on the planet, but we’re talking about a bump of maybe $5-6 million. Definitely not $62 million. Don’t trust us? Well according to Forbes, which we think is a little too conservative with their estimates, Rick earned $6 million in 2012 and $9 million in 2013. That’s a grand total of $15 million during what were arguably Rick’s peak earning years to date.

Let’s also keep in mind that in order to have a checking account balance of $92 million, Rick would conceivably needed to earn a little less than twice that amount before taxes. And that’s before he spent a dime on cars, jewelry, houses, private jets, vacations and biggest expense of them all for Rick: Food. Even if Rick was the most penny-pinching saver in the world, we’re still talking about $200-$250 million in earnings over the last 3-4 years, in order to be left with such a gargantuan bank account. Unfortunately, this isn’t reality. Even for Mr. Maybach Music himself.

In conclusion, it’s pretty safe to say that this is simply one rapper making an extremely over-exaggerated brag.

    18. “Meek sold like 300k”

Which was more than several other rap acts, and just shy of Nas who couldn’t even go gold despite critical acclaim for his last album.”

Meek did 375K which in actuality is pretty good for a street artist he outsold Tyga and Future who had bigger singles but 9 other HipHop acts sold more albums than him including Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

Nas was on Meeks album but that year (2012) was 2-Chainz year and he stole some of Meeks buzz, and I feel like Atlantic could have done more to promote the album but they were in T.I. mode with his album.

      1. “(2012) was 2-Chainz year and he stole some of Meeks buzz,”

How can you “steal buzz”? If you’re hot you’re hot and the people will know it and support. That sounds like an excuse.

I remember Meek tweeted that he was gonna fuck around and go plat on these niggas first week. How embarrassing.

      2. There’s enough buzz to go around, it’s not like theres a finite amount of buzz and album sales for rappers each year.

      3. It’s easy to “steal buzz”, were people talking about Dreams and Nightmares in 2012 or GKMC?
9th place isnt bad, the more pop Wiz Khalifah did 421K that same year.

      4. “It’s easy to “steal buzz”, were people talking about Dreams and Nightmares in 2012 or GKMC?”

If he put out a good album he would have had buzz and the people talking but most people were let down by his album.

      5. Meek should have done Memphis Bleek numbers from way back. His singles flopped, but above all he wasn’t promoted right. People knew him from that 2pac Back song, but one song isn’t enough to solidify your buzz. The label needs to make sure mainstream america knows who Meek Mill is if he has any chance of really doing some damage in this industry.

    19. “Meek sold like 300k”

Meek did good for a debut, the list below is a list of all the artists that have an RIAA certified Platinum plaque for an album from 2007-2014 according to the RIAA website, sucks that only about 10 rappers have sold a million in the last 8 years of piracy.

      T.I
      JayZ
      Drake
      Emenim
      LiL Wayne
      Nicki Minaj
      Kanye West
      Macklemore
      Kendrick Lamar

      1. I think Soulja Boy shipped platinum back in ’07. I wouldnt count BEPs. pirate bay killed music sales.

      1. The 50 Troll guy likes to brag about how Mac Miller the white rapper tied Jeezy, Ross, LiL Jon, and Questlove at 6 million on the Forbes Cash Kings list for 2013. LOL, he is just overly excited to see another one of his people on the list.

    20. also banks sold more records than meek, is richer than meek and can rap circles around meek

Banks is a pop rap artist and pop sells more records plus he spent his money on weed. No wonder why 50 kicked his ass out.

      1. Banks is not pop and how would you know what he spends his money on? You’re not his accountant.

      2. Here at YMCMB hadquarters I can hack anyones accountant information. It turns out that Banks spends most of his money on gay porno mags.

      3. The richest pinnacle he reached was 10 million and blew most of after albums 2 & 3 flopped. He has no buzz, no album, no nothing going on while Meek steady jumps on songs and collects checks.

    21. Macklemore was on there too doing it big. Doin what Rick Ross has never been able to do, go platinum, and he did it on an indie without the backing of the entire industry!

      1. He’s a pop rap artist and pop sells more.
      2. He wasn’t on an indie label. Warner Music Group distributed his album. He may have produced it independently but WMG bought the rights to distribute the album.

      1. 1. Macklemore is a hip-hop artist, whether you like it or not.

        2. He IS signed to an indie label.

      2. A white rapper making gay friendly raps should be at least 10X platinum like their hero Eminem, they love that faggott shit.

    22. is it me or do others think Meek Mill looks sexy on that pic? Im straight and all, I fuck girls, but Meek Mill should be a model. he looks really fine and his gangsta rap image makes girls wet. swag

    23. Meek gets lot of Hood love, he isnt a crossover darling like Drake and Wiz or a Hipster fav like Kendrick and Tyler. Meek is that young dude in the mainstream repping the streets and street music. A dying breed in this era.

      1. thank god the streets have a nigga to brag about how rich he is on every song. thats what we need. fuck uplifing rhymes about the struggle

      2. Hipsters love the Black Hipster movement.

Kendrick is a counterculture figure who shuns jewellry and designer clothing while wearing a goofy haircut and cultivating an image that GQ magazine referred to as “Nerdy”.
Hipsters love the fact that GKMC had Sonnymoons Anna Wise on 8 tracks and JMSN also heavily involved in GKMC….so hipsters had orgasms they love em some Ab Soul and K.Dot not so much
        Jay Rock.

      3. “thank god the streets have a nigga to brag about how rich he is on every song. thats what we need. fuck uplifing rhymes about the struggle”

You clown, Meek lived the struggle his entire life and it’s documented on YouTube, we seen him go from matted braids and dingy T-shirts to riding Jets and Wraiths with Audemares and Cuban links.

Meek earned the right to brag, he grinded for years to get we’re he is at and now he is a living and breathing example of success and surviving the struggle.

      4. “Hipsters love the fact that GKMC had Sonnymoons Anna Wise on 8 tracks and JMSN also heavily involved in GKMC….so hipsters had orgasms they love em some Ab Soul and K.Dot not so much ”

I’m pretty sure this butthurt MMG stan is the only one who even knows who Anna Wise is and that she’s singing back up vocals on his album. You the same guy who constantly brings that up like it someone gives his album less merit.

      5. “You clown, Meek lived the struggle his entire life and it’s documented on YouTube, we seen him go from matted braids and dingy T-shirts to riding Jets and Wraiths with Audemares and Cuban links.”

you so corny you probably jerk off to Meek’s IG everyday looking at all his rented cars

    24. A thoro nicca a crossed ways with a few days ago told me Meek Mill ain’t shit but a fake nicca and his father wasn’t even killed, he just punked out of Meek’s life and never came back

      1. he has no idea what a real hipster is. his definition seems to be anyone who is more successful than his favorite rappers (mainly mmg) is a hipster.

      1. how long did Meek Mills show last. I admit Rick Ross had a good run on Family Matters but not a lot of rappers have had longeivity on tv outside of LL and Ice-T.

    25. dancers in bac ground making kung fu type moves sex type moves jay z roc sign on crowd in beginging then seens of dancers getting close to fake singer in certian seens.white camran man running on stage for no reason

    26. I GOT MORE MONEY THAN I KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH
I GOT ENOUGH CASH MONEY TO HIRE & FIRE U, GOTTI & BOO SHIT
I RAP LIKE I’M YELLING LIKE I’M TALKING ON A CELLY UNDER A TUNNEL
I RAP LIKE YOU JUST TOOK MY LAST HOT POCKET AND A NIGGA GETTING PUMMLED
20 THOUSAND ON MY FIST, HUNDRED K ON MY WRIST
BOUT TO HEAD UP TO THE STRIP CLUB & THROW AWAY MY TAX REFUND ON A BITCH
I RAP LIKE I’M SELLING PEANUTS AT THE BALL PARK
GOT MY OWN LABEL FULL OF HAS BEENS AND THEY THINK THEY ALL STARS
I RAP LIKE I WAS COOKING AND I JUST SEEN A MOUSE (EEK!)
I CANT EVEN GO ON TOUR, CAN’T EVEN LEAVE MY HOUSE
I GOT TWO MILLION DOLLARS AND I BRAG ALL ABOUT THAT SHIT ALL THE TIME
I BEST ENJOY THAT MONEY WHILE IT LASTS, MY LAST ALBUM TANKED, THE NEXT ONE MIGHT NOT MAKE A DIME
OUT ON THE DOCKS MIGHT COP ME ANOTHER YACHT
BUT MY RAPS SUCK SO BAD I MIGHT FIND MYSELF LIVING IN A CARDBOARD BOX

    27. This humble, giving man took me off the streets of Carol City, FL where I was homeless & hungry. I had just lost my job working at Wendy’s and took residence at a shelter. Rick Ross was holding a songwriting contest in his area; the prize was a ghostwriting deal worth one million dollars. I decided to enter just on a whim, but in the back of my mind I figured I wouldn’t win. So I wrote some lyrics, mailed in my entry, and waited. A week later, the winner of the contest was announced on 106 & Park and I was absolutely floored. The next day I was eating soup at the city mission when one of the staff told me I had a visitor; it was Rick Ross. He simply said “Come with me” and I was left speechless as we entered his limo. We drove off to the studio in Miami, where we recorded Port of Miami, and the rest is history. From that day forward, I became Rick Ross’ most trusted ghostwriter & closest confidante.

      1. Speaking of which, tell your mom to come over & fry me up a bologna sandwich the next time we finish fucking.

      1. This nigga always shitting on 50 cent’s acting career despite making movies with the biggest names in hollywood from arnold, stallone, pacino and deniro and now he’s giving meek mill props for doing some movie no one ever heard of.

    28. “And no one will care about those songs as they flop and Meek will collect small checks”

It doesn’t matter if they flop. He’s still getting paid, plus the exposure helps him in the long run.

      1. Yes he did. Amen was popular, his album went no.2, his mixtapes crashed servers, and has his own label.

      2. No, he didn’t. Amen was not successful, going to #2 isn’t impressive, his mixtapes didn’t crash anything, and his “label” is nothing more than a T-Shirt logo.

    29. “Doesn’t matter, it’s still means nothing and he won’t be around in the long run”

      Neither will Kendrick.

      1. Randomly bringing up other artists when you have no argument. Besides, Kendrick will be around longer than Meek.

    30. “50 cent’s acting career despite making movies with the biggest names in hollywood”

Righteous Kill flopped and was critically panned. Escape Plan flopped. A STV movie with Nic Cage flopped. He’s acting with stars past their prime. That’s not impressive.

      1. Righteous Kill
        Budget $60 million
        Box office $78,460,699

        Escape Plan
        Budget $50 million
        Box office $137,324,564

both of those movies made millions, you cant really call that a flop.

    31. “The difference is that Meek Mill is a terrific actor”

Denzel said Meek looked confident in his movie now playing on BET.

    32. “A thoro nicca a crossed ways with a few days ago told me Meek Mill ain’t shit but a fake nicca and his father wasn’t even killed, he just punked out of Meek’s life and never came back”

Well, I’m sorry, sweetheart, but this “thoro nicca” you “crossed ways with a few days ago” is a goddamn liar.

    33. ocaine is a short-acting, powerful euphoric stimulant. Some people feel extreme confidence and a great ego boost while under the influence. I personally find the high from cocaine – even pure – boring when insufflated, but when smoked as freebase it delivers a powerful rush, and the rush from mainlining gives a heroin shot a run for its money. Cocaine can make you horny, and may delay ejaculation, but with too high a dose you may be unable to get or maintain an erection, and may have difficulty – or no interest – in ejaculating after a while. At least that’s my experience.
Cocaine has a fairly easy comedown unless you’ve been binging, but after a long session the stimulation and crash is quite devastating, and you may be unable to sleep for 3-5 hours, despite the effects having worn off ages ago. Tolerance builds incredibly fast; you will need to increase the dose almost constantly and very soon larger doses will do little to improve the high. Cocaine is also, especially when smoked or injected, ridiculously addictive. I have tried over 70 different psychoactives and NOTHING comes close to the addictive potential of (crack) cocaine. It is psychologically addictive, producing immense and inexplicable cravings for the drug, as well as paranoia.

MDMA is an intermediate-acting stimulant/empathogen. You will probably feel a sense of euphoria (although quite unifaceted – “Yay, I feel great!”), and notice yourself becoming much more empathetic towards other people, often wanting to talk endlessly, and to hug and touch and tell people you love them. It also enhances music quite a lot, as well as dancing. Smaller amounts are great for intimate moments with a significant other, though often it feels better to just cuddle and meld into one for hours than have sex – which can be problematic if you’ve taken too much, as almost all stimulants are vasoconstrictors, and have a tendency to cause what is scientifically known as the “Scared Turtle” or colloquially “the shrimp”. MDMA, unless taken in large amounts or dosed repeatedly, produces a fairly mild comedown, simply noticing the effect has quite suddenly worn off. Greater use may lead to a very depressed state. You may also find yourself being depressed or upset about the smallest things for no reason 2-4 days after taking the MDMA (“Tuesday Blues”). MDMA is not very addictive, but most people find that frequent use leads to highly diminished rewards, and the general trend for the pleasure of rolling seems to be a gradual, constant decrease – you have less fun each time. It also causes unpleasant chewing of the cheeks, jaws and such, which may lead to chipped teeth or aching jaws the following day.

Methamphetamine is amphetamine on steroids. At low doses it’s a powerful and very centrally acting stimulant, but at higher doses it becomes a euphoric, recretional stimulant with little application for intellectually demanding activities. You can focus, but it’s better suited for fighting a war or helping a friend move houses. Or partying. It has an extremely long duration when taken orally; the main active metabolite, amphetamine, peaks at after 10-12 hours, and amphetamine itself has a half-life of over 10 hours. You can easily stay awake over 24 hours with a reasonable-looking parachute. Sniffing shortens the duration somewhat. Smoking produces an intense, rushing high, somewhat like freebase cocaine.
Meth in general has euphoric peak effects for 4-8 hours, followed by at least 8-12 hours of overstimulation but little pleasurable effects. The desire to redose becomes great, and this is what makes it so addictive – it’s a little like cocaine in that sense. Methamphetamine also makes me hypersexual, so if I’m home alone tweaking I may just sit there jerking it all night. No kidding.

      1. Cost budgets and box office profits arent the entire equation. Box-office exposure good or bad, almost always constitutes post box-office revenue streams such as merchandising and licensing to name a couple. Most celebrities are only known for what the general public classifies them as, however their role as a celebrity warrants a lot more expectation and in there lays the paunch.

With regards to comparing artists, it is very natural to compare and contrast all the time, for these are the processes used in extruding inspiration. No passion, no jealousy. In my professional opinion, this genre actually hasnt been around long enough to really assess factors that live outside of obvious patterns and cycles that often lack any nature of originality.

Some say Meek has repeated concepts thru his bars over and over, but that is only because of the amount of material he has shared throughout his rise. Keep in mind that these artists just don’t pop up out of nowhere, overnight. They put in the work for a very long time which is why they make it look easy. We often never look at Michael Jordans high school career. To me, Meek brings that energy. Kendrick, brings the writing talent. I would personally never compare them. I would only encourage whatever they define as a life success and hope that a possible collaboration could be a summer hit.

    34. Righteous Kill cost $60 million to make, and made $40 million. That’s $20 mill in the hole, and ironically the studio that released it no longer exists lol

      1. “Righteous Kill
        Budget $60 million
        Box office $78,460,699”

that looks like 18 million box officer profit to me

      1. no it didn’t but whats the difference? why limit yourself to one country? a million is a million and it made more than it cost to make

    35. All yall niggas hatin…Meek aint talkin bout straight “trappin out the bando” and ” popped a molly” and “yayo”. He one of the actual rappers of this day and age where everybody that grew up on 90s rap call our music trash and uninspiring, unoriginal and undeveloped. Meek Mill can make a street anthem like “Levels” and “Imma Boss” n den turn around and get serious wit stuff like “Young Kings” and “Traumatized”. Respect the man
